Alina is going through so much and throughout the book, she struggles to understand what is the truth, who is her enemy and who can she really trust! Juggling Lincoln, Andrei and now Drake is already enough! Living for her vengeance, could she have been wrong? Is Dracula really the one to blame? She doesn't know up from down, side to side anymore. The steam in this book jumps dramatically from book one and I AM HERE FOR IT. What happens when she is requested to take the spot of Queen of Vampires? Having grown up a slayer, killing vamps is all she knew and now...the next step terrifies her. What will she do? With twists and turns and the connection between Alina and Alexandra, I love it - both of the series intertwines with each other and I'm loving it. Students are ending up dead, are they targeting both Alexandra and Alina or just one of them!? When the ending comes up too fast we are left with a mild cliffhanger no one saw coming! Will Alina be able to accept all of her mates? Will she be able to find out who is responsible for the hit on her family? I cant wait to find out. I really enjoyed this book and am loving the series! I cant wait to see what Alina does next! I love Alina and her rational brain, yes she's actually super rational hahaha even if her first instinct is to throw hands. She has the foresight to slow down and think it through.. and that ended had me wanting to throw hands... onto the next one

    This series was a great read! It put a completely different spin on the Van Helsing versus Dracula lure and the author does an amazing job of taking you through all the emotions felt by the characters from each of their perspectives. It’s filled with Love, reverse harem, action, death betrayal, spice, the works. It accurately paces the characters, emotional mental, and even traumatic moments throughout the entire novel, and it is unlike a lot of other novels that set an unrealistic even for fiction fantasy novel, standard of dealing with traumatic situations. There were plenty of spicy scenes that fit very well within the story like they weren’t awkwardly placed in a random places throughout the novel they were placed where they were supposed to be. I read this entire series within a matter of days. I would’ve finished the entire series within maybe a day or two if my schedule didn’t mess it up.

    Although it was spread out between four books, to me, in my opinion, it really should have been only one book. Maybe you could stretch it out to two books, but this series really didn’t need to be a full book series. This was my only “issue” with the series it’s not enough to drop the rating past five though. it’s literally one novel that was split between multiple books and and I’m not sure if it was just so that the author could make more money or just a production decision either way it didn’t really make sense to me to do that. New book literally just starts or continues from where the period the previous book ended so it was literally just a full continuation of the same book.

    I’d recommend this series to anyone who loves a good action, failed, spicy, vampire, romance novel, even if that’s not your typical cuppa tea I would still recommend it. It’s a very good series.
    I’m looking forward to Reading more of this author’s books.

    I love these types of books but hate when a character self-sacrifices for absolutely no reason. How difficult is it to go to someone and say, “Hey, here’s an issue that you’re more than capable of helping me with” rather than “Oh, woe is me. I can’t trust any of the people that I know would help me so my response is to piss everyone else off and take on a situation by myself that I’ve already proven I can’t handle”. There’s got to be a more creative way to deal with these things.

    Read the triggers. A bit of force play, all conceptual. 3 vampire mates. Day by day she is learning more about vampires. She thought she knew a lot as a slayer, but now she sees the other side. She doesn't know what to think, specially with having Dracula as a mate. She thought he was responsible for killing her family but it looks like there is distension among the vampires. Somebody framed him. Now one of her mate's is acting weird and she is determined to find out what is going on. I liked it.

    I have been anxiously waiting for this book! The first book left us on a cliffhanger and I have been counting down the days until I could read the next book. Bite of Betrayal did not disappoint!

    This book picks up where we left off in the first book. Dracula as a mate to Alina! I freaking love it! It's slow and bumpy ride but maybe just maybe he's not who she thought he was. Alina is slowly coming into her own. She's starting to realize not everything is black and white. There are shades of gray everywhere. That leaves her with alot of internal turmoil, guilt and confusion. It's slow going but the guys are there for her and help her sort her feeling out. There is alot of character and relationship development in this book and I love it!

    They guys are all jealous of each other and bicker back an forth. They are not happy about Dracula at all! That's the one thing they can all agree on. Finally they start getting their head out of their rear-end when they see the toll it takes on Alina.

    However behind the scenes there is alot more going on than everyone knows. There are murders taking place at the academy and everyone is on alert. On top of that someone is out to destroy Alina and Dracula. Betrayal and sabotage are happening here!

    Once again another cliffhanger and let me tell you the amazing Mrs. Caulder knows how to to leave you hanging! I was in tears! Overall fantastic book! I love love love it!
