I love the Vampire family and I love the story between Lexington the vampire who finds his mate in a beautiful magical mage named Carter!     This is the first time I've read a book by this author. I was intrigued by the synopsis and the blurb below the synopsis said this book could be read as a stand alone.

    It definitely can be read as a stand alone. I did not feel like I was missing parts of the story by not fully knowing other characters. The opposite happened in fact. There are lots of fun characters mentioned that I'm sure are protagonists in other books... and they interacted with Carter and Lexington in ways that built the protagonists, furthered the plot, and entertained the reader.

    I would recommend this book to a reader looking for a light hearted romance. Someone who wants an HEA that starts with a little fiction (not enemies to lovers) and prefers originally over cheese when it comes to romantic gestures.

    I bought this book yesterday, uploaded it, and thought I might read a couple of pages before bed. After midnight I finally put it down.
    Yet again another book that keeps the reader entranced by the story line that has been developed by Chandelle and Megan.
    I had laughed out loud at certain parts, chuckled at others, LOVED the name of the island and a corporation that entwined the authors names, and hope against hope that there is mention of or inclusion of the main characters again in a book by these 2 authors. All those vampire siblings to be married off! (hint, hint)
    FAN BLOODY TASTIC to put it in the words of an Aussie, cannot wait until the next release(s) from these authors.
