𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗱 is the second book in 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚.𝗗. 𝗧𝗮𝘆𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀. This is older brother Spence and best friend to the heroine in book 1, Emma’s book and it was AMAZING! Wow I am so blown away by how good this book is! I didn’t love the first book however the parts I did love were the ones with Emma and Spence in them. Early on you can tell their chemistry is explosive. Emma sees Spence in the elevator in book one and mindedly begins to call him “Old Solum” due to his broody disposition. Their playful yet antagonistic banter was hilarious. I love them! This book had the perfect combination of build up towards they moment they finally give into the heat and then did not disappoint throughout the rest of the story. There were cute family moments with the brothers and Emma’s family. some of these scenes were so funny and I’m not usually a romcom gal. Most of all, Spence and Emma together felt so right. They clicked so well and had insane passion between them. I love when you can feel a couple’s love like this. I am very impressed by the authors. I loved the pacing and the world building based around the main couple. Couldn’t’ love this more.

    I love that she kept him on his toes and he did the same.

    I love that him being the oldest had the most amount of love to give but had a harder time showing it until Emma and then it just never stopped bubbling out of him!!

    I love also that this book didn’t have them breakup just take a couple of days for her to process her feelings when he overstepped a bit with her job.

    I did however LOVE the way she handled her AH senior partner who thought he was exempt from everything lol BRAVA!

    This is the story of Emma Kingsley and Spence Taylor. Emma is Mya’s best friend (Mya is dating Jesse, one of Spence’s brothers), so they’ve known each other for a while. These are two alphas and as such they always have to be in control, which gives room for amazing banter!
    I really enjoyed this book, there’s a lot of banter and family fun (as usual in this series), which I love! My only thing is that these two are true to the book title and are so GD stubborn 😅 never wanting to give control away, not letting the other person truly in. So I was frustrated for quite a while but on the other hand this also speaks volumes of how amazing Laura and Willow are as writers, making you feel ALL the feels ❤️ Can’t wait for the next book in the series. Caden, I’m looking at you 😉

    I read the first book in the GD Taylor's series and I didn't love the book as much as I loved the boys family Dynamic. I love romance books where the story does not only concentrate on the hero and the heroine but their support people and families and friends too. I loved Mya's mom from that book and Old solemn and She devil's interactions so it was no brainer to read their book . And I loved every bit in it. Who would've knew that behind these two cold exteriors there's such heat. I loved their banter , their chemistry was off the charts and Spence wow what can I say aside from you're so swoon worthy. Thanks giving dinner and Christmas dinner with these families were my favorite parts in their story. I'm so looking forward to Duncan's book being the quietest and the prankster in the family his book is ought to be amazing. Can't wait for more from this group of people.
