Brick's Geeks (Rebels and Nerds Book 1) Kindle Edition
Beaten, broke, and running from his past, he arrives in Seattle, ready to start a new life.
Ready for almost anything, but not for Irving and Ezra.
Brick:
Ezra looks like an angel. That’s the first problem.
When he comes by the bar where I’m working, my mind starts firing with desires that scare me.
Someone has been vandalizing the comic book store where he works down the street, and Ezra thinks I should keep an eye on the place.
Careful what you wish for...
Ezra gets me worked up, and when this geeky guy Irving comes into the bar to catch some washed up band, I just can’t help myself.
He’s gorgeous, with lips that drive me wild and a cute submissive vibe.
And when I turn on my charm, Irving unravels in my hands.
That’s the real problem, though.
Everything I touch falls apart.
And every man I care about is left hurt and reeling.
I’m not going down that path again. I’m not going to make Ezra and Irving live through that pain.
Because I might be running from my past, but my past is running just as fast to keep up with me.
And I might be ready to throw a fist and take a punch, but I know I can’t fight hard enough to keep them safe.
I know that the second I admit my true feelings, they’ll be the ones to pay the price.
Brick’s Geeks is an MMM romance, and the first novel in the Rebels and Nerds series. It is an 80K novel with an HEA for all three characters, featuring spanking, ropes, and a spicy heat level. Enjoy!

- Reviewed in the United States on September 22, 2019This is a gay romance with 3 male love interests and no triangle just steamy 3 way scenes. There is some violence and a decent plot line with enough action to keep it interesting. The characters are well developed and you enjoy them.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 8, 2019I’m still confused why I enjoy R. Cayden as much as I do. Like other books by this author, While I generally like complicated novels, “Brick’s Geeks” (the first of the Rebels and Nerds series) has a simple plot and characters. But each word rings true, the characters are like folks we know, and the emotions completely believable. With Cayden, simple is better!
“Brick’s Geeks” is the story of three young men, two of whom have been discarded by family for their sexuality. In one another, they find the strength to be their best selves.
But first, there’s the issue of Brick’s past as a fighter who angered the wrong mob boss, creating a “trail of destruction in my path.” He meets Ezra and Irving, introverts who run from reality through comic books and computer code respectively. After vandals graffiti Ezra’s comic store he hires Brick, who works as a bouncer in the bar across from his comic store, to watch out. Ezra doesn’t know the vandal is son of Brick’s old mob boss’s son. To save him, Ezra and Irving must step up to the plate. How can Geeks ever protect, much less heal a cornered, terrified Brick of a man?
In “Brick’s Geeks “ Cayden skillfully matches the most unlikely of lovers. And he demonstrates why these three wouldn’t work as any of the possible couples in their triad, a true feat Each corner of this triangle is strong. Ezra may be a lost boy, but he can call it as it is “You’re just going to prove everyone right, Brick! Is that what you really want to do?” he bravely accuses an enraged Brick, who is about to sell himself short. And Irving, who has been treated badly by family, knows how to create and a strengthen a bond through sacrifice.
In short, Cayden brings together average people with decent values, sets intimacy norms on their ear, and manages to tell great stories with lovable characters. “Brick’s Geeks” is a great example! No wonder I want to read more of Cayden’s work.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 8, 2022the story itself is good, and i enjoyed the characters. but some of the details and descriptions changed in ways that pulled me out of the story, and… i’m sorry, spit and precome are not sufficient lubricant for anal sex.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 21, 2019I love the geek,/ bad boys genre and MMM. So I was excited to find this new author. This is a great story with an added bonus of kink. I can't wait to read what is next.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 20, 2019Ezra and Irving team up to show Brick that he can be loved and love back. I really liked this story and the characters. It takes a moment, but it is definitely worth it. I liked how well the characters interact even when they have the best interactions.
This is a great throuple book where the characters support each other even when they say they don't want it.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 2, 2022This book would have been perfect if it had been a story between Ezra and Irving. Throwing Brick into this mix made needless except for the drama.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 4, 2020I really like that no one is a millionaire or supernatural. Every day kind of guys finding their way out of trouble and into a HEA.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 13, 2020You quickly met Ezra in Asher and his Geek Daddies and now it seems that the wonderful men at Northstar comic are getting their own happily ever afters! While Irving and Ezra made complete sense together, they needed Brick to fill in that missing piece in their relationship. Between the three of them, they found happiness and fulfillment for a lifetime.

5.0 out of 5 stars A beautiful story
Brick has not had an easy life, making enough money to pay his rent and to try to keep out of trouble is as much as he Hope's for, until he meets Ezra and then Irving. The two men who first fall for one another realise that Brick enhances their relationship, seeing how they persuade him was lovely.
Well written with a plot I didn't expect, which made it more worthwhile. I really enjoyed this story

4.0 out of 5 stars Good emotional story!
The emotional depths of this story are very well written. And the relationship between the main characters is very deep. But the chemistry between the characters could of have had better emphasis.
Would recommend to anyone who likes a slow romance.

3.0 out of 5 stars Okay
First off i have to say the mistakes throughout the book got a tad irritating, offering someone tea and then mentioning later they were sipping coffee. One character saying something and then later mentioning it was another character, left me constantly checking back and wondering if I was going crazy. That took away from the story and it unfortunately didn't help the over all feel of the book. I was happy we got the three main characters point of views throughout the book but to be honest I wasn't particularly sold on them as a throuple and that made it hard to root for them to get their happily ever after. Not an awful book but one I'll no doubt forget in a few hours.
