    I love Chara Croft's books. She has the perfect blend of sweet and sassy and kink and heat, heat, HEAT!!

    Tyson is an arrogant, stereotypical college jock. He's pretty much screwed his way through college but, hey, who is he to deny the masses of all his "charm and skill"! He's a senior but finds himself with a freshman roommate. An entirely too sweet and innocent roommate, who seems to live to do whatever Tyson wants or needs. Even before Tyson himself knows. Sean is adorably shy and awkward but then given his warped upbringing it's no wonder why. He's also totally over-the-moon for his big, sexy roommate and will do anything as long as Tyson smiles at him and tells him how good he is. When these two start discovering that what they have together is explosive chemistry you just might need a fire extinguisher to continue reading. Sean is completely loveable, and although Tyler is so unashamedly a manwhore, you can't help but love his crass but underlying sweet behavior.

    I loved this book so much! I laughed out loud and cringed a lot when I learned about how abusive Sean's parents were but I was totally cheering for Tyson when he got on the bandwagon to take charge and let them know that no one hurts "his boy"! Yes, it's kinky. Yes, it's hot. It's so many things all rolled up into a great story that will have you coming back again and again! Totally recommend!

    I loved Tyson and Sean’s relationship and their dynamic with the dom / sub elements, and the praise kink was so well written. Tyson was so caring and gentle with Sean, while still pushing him within his boundaries. Sean has some past traumas that might be triggering, so please read the warnings if you have triggers. The story between Tyson and Sean has very little angst and is more towards sweet and tender, their relationship and the story being very fast-paced.

    As this was the first book I read by Chara Croft I don’t know if it’s her usual writing style but there’s so much inner monologue going on. I like first person PoV and knowing what the character is thinking but this was just a bit too much for me and threw me off at times.

    This is a book to pick up if you’re looking for something hot and sexy (while still being sweet and somewhat fluffy), with a pretty simple and straight forward plot.

    What no epilogue?! I really could have used one here. See what happens after. Did the mom come back? What happened in the summer? Did they stay together? I need some answers.
    As I once heard before, this is a cinnamon roll with a praise kink story. Sugary sweet, lots of mess but oh so good. This story did have a trigger. Abusive parent. Living that experience myself I did pause for a second to collect myself, but he had T so all was good. The writing was good the smexy was all kinds of Hawt and dirty, there was only one side character.

    I try never to judge a book by it's cover. Instead I use the blurb. I figured this would be your typical college roomie kinky story. And if course, it was also that. But these characters pulled me in. Tyson with his cocky attitude, that part of me wanted to hate. But the way he cared for Sean had me changing my tune. I loved that Tyson had a bit of angst due to the whole bf and r word issues. But I liked that it wasn't drawn out too long and his acceptance wasn't full of back and forth. I'm glad Sean found his inner strength, and if that isn't a great way to end a book on a very happily ever after, then I don't know what is.

    Enjoyed this book by Croft, my first. It was super sexy without cliches. The only thing that was a bit weird for me was the constant pet names Tyson called Sean? Idk...Tyson came off as so alpha, super man-whorish and super masculine that I wasn't sure the pet names fit as something he would say. But it didn't ruin my total enjoyment and it was just my take. Loved Tyson's take charge attitude and the end was perfect.

I must admit it took me a while to wrap my head around this relationship as it’s hard to understand that Tyson is doing right by Sean, but once I realized that Tyson is exactly who Sean needs and Sean is the perfect boy for Tyson then I was hooked. I would love to read more of these two as they continue in their life together.
