    Unbelievable book about a 30-something year old woman who acts like a 16 yr old impulsive teen ager and yet everything always works out in her favor. I find her vacuous and lacking in dimension. Her friends, two extraordinarily good looking men who somehow don't have girlfriends or other females swarming around them, seem at least more three dimensional. Disappointed in that, from the title, I was expecting more about Sicily and the Italian people but nothing at all about them. A nice lite read to fill in the time but nothing that would really grab your attention. (And the reviewer shown on Amazon seems to say the same thing about every book)

The characters are interesting and the story line has so many twists and turns...Veterinarian Audrey can't seem to stay out of trouble as she is asked to visit another area of Italy to he.p with their stray cat population. Of course she manages to find a dead body and proceeds to get herself out of suspicio theres always a great story where Audrey is concered...now onto book 5!

    I enjoyed this light hearted series of books and would have liked another one in the series to find out if the villa ever gets finished. My only problem with the series is the poor proof reading as there were quite a few errors that proof reading before publication would have eradicated, but I might be too picky. It didn’t really distract too much from the pleasure of the narrative.
