    Written for mature readers only (18+ years old) due to subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some including adult language, steamy intimate scenes and violence such as kidnapping / abduction, human trafficking / enslavement, assault, betrayal, illegal drug trade, fighting with some to the death, etc.

    This is the sixth story in the series and due to reoccurring characters and overarching themes, I highly recommend these be read in series order.

    There are some grammatical issues, such as extra and/or transposed words, but not so frequent that I felt I needed to lower the rating. I gave this one 5 stars based upon the depth of the story universe and the strength of the characters.

    I have been looking forward to Kean’s story and wondering what type of female would finally trigger his mate bond. Kean has been introduced in previous stories and always seemed to have the best intentions, especially for someone who manufactured and sold a drug that could be highly addictive.

    Sarah is feisty, fierce and willing to fight, even after being starved and segregated. I especially like the two things she did to defy her former “master” after he sold her sister and what she was going to do if Kean hadn’t figured it out and intervened.

His reputation as a cut throat criminal scares Sarah at first until she truly gets to know him a eh sees why he makes certain decisions and choices. There are some misunderstandings almost deadly experiences, passion and lots of love the perfect way to end a rather hellish work week.     The heat in this one is a little disappointing. Like a 1 out of 5. I think even with it being book 6 most of the story was built on world building it felt like. Lots of details were lost like physical appearance of the male MC until halfway through. It is still a sweet story and I'd like to see what happens in the next one. Great job setting up for it! But the heat being low and pack of physical descriptions just didn't cut it for my standard alien romance books. Lynnea's Xarc'n Mountain series really set the bar too high for me, lol. Go read it!!!
