    The author's writing style was like no other, I finished this book in one sitting and was completely captivated by the characters. The one thing that really stood out to me was the diversity in characters. Often time's author's are diverse with the character's race but not their intellectual abilities. Ashley had written Adrik as someone who has Asperger's, you could see that this book was well researched and that she had really taken time to portray Adrik the way he should've been. Adrik was also different from other mafia men, he knew what he wanted and he ran with it. Avelina was also different and so was her emotional journey. She was at time reluctant to fall in love with Adrik but she always found her way to him, despite the circumstances. These are two characters, I can't wait to see together and read the rest of their story. I also LOVED LOVED the plot. She took a cliche and overused trope and made it unique in a way that has never been seen before. Avelina and Adrik's love is one we all dream for. Ashley will cause emotional turmoil and frustration but at the end, it's all worth it. A must read for 2020.

The best I can describe it, anyways it ends in a cliffhanger so if u can’t handle that then don’t read until the other book drops.
