    I really liked these stories, so much so that I went and found the previous collection. However I did take a star off due to all the editing errors. Numerous times characters were called by the wrong names. And there were quite a few punctuation/grammar errors.
    I like that the author supports pansexuality but not that all the characters ended up in hetero-normal relationships.
    I also like that while there is a lot of sex, those scenes do not take away from the storyline.

    This is the full collection of series. They are all short reads so after I found the first novella, I decided to jump to this so I could just binge them back to back.

    Loved how progressive all the characters were with sex and romance which is the way it should be with a futuristic setting and aliens. All the stories were full of spice and the central focus was on them hooking up and locking in that HEA.

    My only issue was with a bit of editing and inconsistency in one of the character's names - we go a whole story calling a woman Nova only for subsequent stories to call her Vega and sometimes Nova. Just poor QA on the editor's part.

    Regardless, highly recommend for a holiday spicy read while sipping drinks poolside!

    Having immersed myself in the "alien mates" trope for the past year, I can state from vast experience that this was an entirely fun and entertaining read: 5 books of the Araced Pirates series that follow a logical progression of aliens and their fated mates. The author's imagine shines in the varying circumstances the mates find themselves in, and in the variety of ways the aliens first resist and then accept their fate while rescuing their ladies. Plenty of angst and rolicking good steam hold the readers interest and keep the reader moving through the books. I snapped up the Tholkon Smugglers series to read next and I'll be diving right in. If this is your trope, this is your series.

    The stories keep you entertained and interested. They are not a hard read at all and are fun to sit down with a cup of cocoa on a cold day.

    Contains 5 novels about the crew of an alien space ship who answer a distress call from a human ship and they all end up stranded on what is, at first, a very inhospitable planet. The overarching storyline of how they all pair up and eventually overcome the problems on the planet make for a very enjoyable read which should please sci fi romance fans.
