About the author

I’m a British author, brought up on the Isle of Wight and share my life with a handsome rescued Spanish Podenco called Markos.
I’ve had over one hundred books published, ranging from Regency romance, (my first love), to contemporary women’s fiction and marine crime mysteries.
When not writing I walk miles, make half-hearted attempts to retain flexibility by attending yoga classes, read other people’s tomes…oh, and I’m on a one woman mission to keep the wine trade profitable!

- Reviewed in the United States on February 8, 2020I enjoyed this book very much and only wish the author would write a second book to confirm what happened with both E!I and Chance.

5.0 out of 5 stars A very entertaining read
I did enjoy this story very much. It had interesting characters and an unusual take on how the Prince Regent was viewed. Chance has distanced himself from his family for a variety of reasons. He is a handsome man, who is very capable of looking after himself and those he cares for. Many a lady has set her cap at him to no avail. The band of younger sons who look out for the prince, have a strong sense of brotherhood. There is an attraction between Sabine and Chance but Sabine isn’t looking for marriage after her first experience. There are a couple of romances, politics, and a mystery. Also the relationship between Sabine and her younger sister, Nancy. Sabine’s long time maid, Agnes, is a treasure and tells it as it is. I’m looking forward to reading the second in the series and more about these characters.
