    This is a very cute, very fast beginning of the Innocent Bride series. It’s told dual POV with an epilogue into the future.
    Nikolai is the youngest of the 3 sons of the group. He focuses mainly on building business and securing his father’s future. Fate intervenes when he finds out that some guys are going to collect a debt from Oliver Harrison.
    Charlotte, or Charlie, is Oliver’s little sister. Sh3 finds out the day before that her brother owes a lot of money to the Bratva. Since she’s the one running and investing into the deli her Dad established, she doesn’t have that much. She gives what she has and has it ready the next day when the guys come to collect.
    Sparks and heat fly between Nikolai and Charlotte. Their story is a quick pace with some background action. Several characters are on the side that make it complete. Definitely worth the read 💜

What I didn’t appreciate was physical abuse being portrayed as acceptable and for the female character to act like that should be normal acceptable behavior. Whipping someone with a belt until they’re covered in welts to punish them is ABUSE!!!! I don’t understand how people can acts like it’s ok???? Also it was cringeworthy and disturbing that he thought it would be acceptable to threaten to beat her with a belt to get her to do what he wants and control her what she does and when she does it!!!! Like literally he wanted to whip her because he felt she as going to bed too late?!?!? Like , WTF!!!!

Charlie puts herself up as payment for her brother’s debt. It had a good storyline, I wouldn’t say particularly dark but it was enjoyable and has lots of sexy scenes throughout.
