First off, I'm not usually one that is into books where the main heroine is basically striving to lose her v-card just because. BUT, because of that, the main heroine in this book, Brenna, is searching not just for a guy to finally lose her v-card to, but she is also looking to enjoy her freedom and her now "adult" life outside of school. After going through a rough ordeal when she was just a little girl, she has been sheltered in the protection of her family and going to all-girls schools since then, that now she feels ready to start spreading her wings.  What she doesn't expect is the guy who she is about to lose her v-card to to be one of her dad's star football players. And for him to find out she's a virgin before any of the good stuff even happens.  Talk about embarrassment.  Conner is known to only do the single hookups where he takes what he wants and leave the women happy, with nothing more. But when the angelic sight of Brenna catches him in the club he is a silent owner to, he knows she is his "tonight". But what he finds out that night has him flipping out. But then a few nights later he flips out even more when he realizes the girl he always took the virginity of is his Boss's daughter. And when she lets him know she will just find someone else, something foreign goes through him and he won't let that happen.  When they both find themselves falling hard for each other, the struggles Brenna has been trying so hard to overcome come rushing back. Pushing Conner away seems like the best solution for them, but yet he won't let her push him back, and because he will just keep pushing forward. He just has to convince Brenna they can BE.  This book was everything I expected it would be. Hilarious, swoon-worthy, tragic, and oh so good.  I love a good romance, and throw it in a series with some amazingly hot football players and you've got me hooked.  Stacey Lynn knew what she was doing when she wrote this series, because OMG these players are smoking, and making panties melt left and right!  Conner brings dirt talking to its finest with the sweet innocent Brenna to receive it all.
