    The story Coming Altered: Welcome to Carson, Book Four by Renee Harless is a romance book that includes a bit of mystery and suspense. This is the next amazing book in the Welcome to Carson series and I loved reading it. This is a series that I have loved since reading the first story. This book had my interest from the very beginning and I didn’t want to put down until I had finished the last page. I love the characters of Cassidy and Harlan. Cassidy is a smart, independent, successful businesswoman whose life is all about her career. That changes when she can’t stop thinking about the man that she had a one-night stand with. He now invades her thoughts. She even tries to find him. Unsuccessful to she tries hard to put her focus back on her career. Harlan is a songwriter and guitarist for the rock band Exoneration. It was a chance meeting between him and Cassidy, however, one that has left him unable to forget the one night they spent together. She was gone before he got to tell her that he wanted to see her again. Call it fate or something else these two find themselves reunited. These two have amazing chemistry together and a deep attraction for each other. They start a relationship that includes some very steamy nights together. Cassidy begins to wonder if she can have both the career that she has made for herself and the man she is falling for. Harlan is sure that he has found the one woman for him. There comes a time when Cassidy finds that her private life becomes public. This and another incident find her returning home. What does the future hold for both Cassidy and Harlan? Will these two find a happy ending together? While this is primarily Cassidy and Harlan’s love story it also does have a bit of suspense and mystery involved as well. I love reading about the other characters in this story who are Cassidy’s family and friends. They are always there for each other. It is a family I would love to be part of. This story has adult situations that include some very steamy love scenes between Cassidy and Harlan. It would be recommended for those 18 years of age or older.

    Electric! That is the chemistry between these two. I can almost feel it! Wow! This is a good story and it really got better as it got near the end. This is the fourth book in the Welcome to Carson Series. The main two characters is a stand alone story but I would suggest you read books 1-3 so you can get the full experience of the Connelly family. I have loved the other books but this one was a little flat for me. I was excited for Cassidy’s story since her guy was a player in Rykers band. I was anticipating all kinds of issues because of his rockstar status. But nope. I was able to decipher what was going to happen fairly easily but I did not get the reason behind. Meaning I figured out the person but it turns out I didn’t figure out their reason for doing it. So that is a plus!

    I did like the whole rock star vibe that Harlan had going on and how he had to write music to get the songs out of his head....a true artist! At times I was kinda disgusted with Harlan. I know that is a different lifestyle but he does something so so bad that as a undercover girlfriend I could not let pass. I would be blazing mad if my BF did that and his reply was he is living up to his reputation. Grrrr.
    Ok to be honest Cassidy is not high up on my list at times either. Whenever Harlan does something that she should get mad or upset about....she doesn’t. I just didn’t understand how she could be so easy going all the time.

    I really love the family! As everyone is growing and getting their spouses it makes Carson more and more exciting. I would love to be one of their step-sisters :-) I laugh and chuckle when there is teasing and joking amongst the family.

    OMG I am so excited to read book 5!! There have been hints in the last couple books about Everleigh and Brooks and after reading the end of this book I can’t wait to read their story! Really so excited!

    Holy hell, I'm in love with Harlan Jax!! What a great addition to the Welcome to Carson Series!! I couldn't put this down, but I didn't want it to end!! I've loved each book in this series, alway declaring the one I was reading was the best of them all. This one is no different!! Amazing!

    Just when you think this series can’t get any better the author completely surpasses herself with this latest instalment – Coming Altered! I’m pretty sure I said that about book 3 too but it’s true they just keep getting better and better. I just absolutely love the characters that Renee Harless creates; there is just something so genuine and warm about them.
    I really loved Cassidy, like the rest of her family she is just a lovely person. Her career is really important to her and she has done well in it. She was a real genuine person and I felt a connection with her straight away. Even though her career is important she still has a bond with her family that she is desperately missing out on traveling all of the time. I really loved the relationship that she had with her parents and siblings.
    What I wouldn’t give for a Harlan in my life! He was just AMAZING! There are so many times where I audibly sighed because he was just so sweet! The attraction between the two was intense and instant – for me they made the perfect couple!
    I think I read this book in less than 2 hours; I couldn’t put it down at all. One of the reasons is because the author writes so beautifully that the story just flows and is easy to read. I just needed to keep on reading to find out what happened next! I was completely emerged into Cassidy and Harlan’s story and then came the twist! I was not expecting that at all!! The author did a brilliant job of keeping that one hidden until the end!
    This story could be read as a standalone but I would also recommend reading the other book in the series too as they are great 5 star reads!

    Really enjoyed Cassidy and Harlan's story.

    They meet by chance and have a one nightstand. Not expecting to ever see each other again. But not being able to stop thinking about each other afterwards. Only to have fate step in again and throw them together, months later. Giving them a second chance...
