    The story Coming Consumed: Welcome to Carson, Book Three by Renee Harless is a mystery/romance book. This is a book and series that I truly enjoyed sitting down and reading. Each book has an awesome storyline and amazing characters. This book is the third in the series and it is the story of Sydney and Dylan. This story includes laughter, danger, and romance. It is a story that had me hooked from the first chapter and I didn’t want to put down until I had finished the last page. I love the characters of Sydney and Dylan. Sydney is a strong, confident, successful woman. She hates liars and loves running her bakery. That is where she meets Dylan as he applies for a chef’s position in her expanding business. Dylan is an undercover agent who must use all his skills to keep those he protects safe. That may even mean using deceit. These two have an instant attraction and act on it. What will happen when Sydney finds out who Dylan really is? Will she understand the reasons behind the deceit and how far Dylan would go in order to keep her safe? This story revolves around both the developing romance between Dylan and Sydney and a situation from Sydney’s past that has her in danger. Sydney always seems to push Dylan away and I loved the fact that he keeps coming back. I loved reading how Sydney and Dylan interact and how their feelings for each other only grow stronger. I knew that this couple belongs together and deserves a happy ending. This is a story that can be read as a stand-alone however I strongly suggest that the series be read in order. I found that makes it a smoother reading experience. This is a book and series that makes me want to live in a town like Carson and also in a family like Sydney’s. There is a feeling of belonging and being part of a community. There are scenes in this book that had me wondering what was going to happen next and others that warmed my heart. Reading this book was a perfect way to spend the day.

    My third book and I like it, In the second book the author already made me curieus about this couple.
    I like the suspense in the story and it stays believable, even if there are many coincidences.
    Between them is a bit (too) much "push and pull". What i did not like is Dylan staying away for 4 months without much repercussion.
    He left in such a cool manner, and Sidney was originally so strong about it, it was just too easy for him to come back
    What I did like was their fist encounter in the bakery. Dylan is a nice determined hero

    I loved how it opened. It was a great way to start the story. It had the intensity and the drive you want to have in a book. The first chapter jumped started me and I Sydney is a good character. She didn't know what was happening and what did happen to her was intense. With that being said, after the first chapter I felt that it jumped way to fast for me. Although I liked everything in the book the way it happened was really fast and frustrating at times. I wanted to get to know the characters a bit more, but there was so much going on in the book, that sometimes I had to reread and make sure I was on the same page of the author. I really liked Sydney and Dylan. I thought their characters were perfect for the story and what both of them meant for the story made me pull for these two more.

    Sydney had something horrible happen and now she is back home trying to run her bakery. Her plan is to expand and with that she needs to hire someone. Dylan applies and well sparks fly. But everyone has secrets and both of them are hiding things from each other. As time passes, Sydney is in trouble, but it seems as her family is too. Dylan knows more than what he knows. So when pasts collide what will be the end game.

    The story was good. It had a lot of stuff going on in the book and it overwhelmed me a bit, but I have to say I did like the style of writing. I hope the author finds the audience she is looking for because I really would like to read another one from this author.

    I loved this book!! This is book 3 in the series but a complete stand-alone! I fall more in love with the people in Carson City with each book. I loved Dylan and Sydney!!!     Book 3 in the Carson series is Sydney and Dylan's story. It can be read as a standalone or part of the series. I would recommend reading the series. I've really enjoyed all 3 books and can't wait to read more by Renee Harless.

    Sydney is owner of what was her Mother's bakery. She's worked really hard and thinking of expanding. The only problem is she's struggling to find the right person to help run the new business...
