Confide in Me (On a Night Like This Book 2) Kindle Edition

4.2 out of 5 stars 73 ratings

On a night like this, magic can happen. Seven couples. Seven stories. One night. A night for love.

What do people do when the man of their dreams tells them they “just want to be friends”? If you’re me, you agree. Stupidly.

Ed’s on Tinder looking for a boyfriend. He’s out of luck until he gets swiped right by Callum Brown. After just one date, he’s sure he’s found the one. Unfortunately Callum doesn’t feel the same but asks if they can remain friends.

Being friends with Callum is not easy, especially when Callum confides in Ed about all the other disastrous dates he’s going on. Now Ed just needs to hang on until Callum sees what Ed knew from the first date—that they would be perfect boyfriends.

I love anything written by Renae Kaye, so when I discovered she was writing this series of stories with Sean Kennedy, I knew I had to get on board.

What I adore about this author is her Australian characters, and Callum and Ed were no exception.

    Really enjoying this series.

Rena e is a new to me author that is fast becoming a favorite. If you're looking for a quick read with a nice HEA this author is for you. I always enjoy how her MC ends up explaining the gay to a bunch of straight friends.

Loved this story - Renae Kaye is one of my favorite authors. I have every book she has written, and they are among my most reread as well -

This was really cute and often funny, if a little frustrating to see one guy keep the other in the friend zone when it was clear they were perfect for each other.

I really enjoyed this book. Callum at times was starting to get on my nerves because he wouldn't just be honest and kept dragging Ed along - I wouldn't have waited that long personally haha, but it was a great story and the talk about being honest and authentic with your friends, was touching.

A well written story line with an interesting theme. Good character development and some well suited supporting cast. Ends with a promise for the future HEA.

OMG i love the whole concept of this series and yay for Goddess Kylie making Ed's prayers come true with Callum one time hook up - friend to lovers. Well written and so typically Aussie, it feels like home in a book

Got this book through Kindle Unlimited and kept hanging on to it. I kept returning to it in pieces or in whole, that I decided to purchase it. I can't seem to go wrong Renae Kaye. Ed and Callum are great. Won't disappoint.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great read and keeps the feel for the series going.

The second book in the series, and the first time I've read Renae Kaye.
Ed was a great character, and I felt for him from the start. I could relate and he made me want to slap him with how he was pining after Callum who just didn't seem to get that he was hurting Ed. The story was well paced and it felt right for the story and the way the characters developed and eventually got to that happy moment.Callum had his moments too and the turning point for him was well done and a welcome relief! The supporting cast were good too and while they were all straight, it was good to see the support there for Ed and Callum.

How do you cope when the person you had the best date ever just wants to be friends?
As usual Renae Kaye is able to tackle lots of different issues using humour and a cleverly constructed storyline. Well worth the read!

5.0 out of 5 stars A great series to follow

I have all of Renae's books and these novellas are no exception. A short but sweet read, but long enough that you get to know the characters and start to feel invested in their stories. And because of the way the books are being written/released it alternates with ones written by Sean Kennedy so I have a new author on my list to check out. Also like the glimpse at the end of who's story is next and only having to wait a couple of weeks. I'll be reading this whole series.

Well it's just as well this story has a hea because if it didn't,all that posturing would have been for zero.
Main character Ed and his guy (eventually!) Get there act together.Ed meets Callum and falls head first in love, Callum however is the pain who thinks he wants casual but actually doesn't, yes it's that kind of guy *eye roll* ,but it's the patience that Ed gives that lovely.
