    If you loved Shyam you are going to fall so hard for Jai. He’s such a playboy but the heat in this book is on another level. I have a favorite scene in the book but I won’t spoil the fun for you. Jai has met his match with Claire….or maybe Claire has met her match with Jai. I loved her. These two together are fire. Claire is a ballet teacher and Jai runs an empire. Claire is hiding from her past and Jai has secrets that he’s trying to keep control of. What happens when Claire’s past and Jai’s secrets come head to head? Guess you’ll just have to pick this book up on June 1 to find out!

    Please read the other books before this one. Not only are they amazing but you get character crossover in book 3 which made my heart so happy. In order to fully respect the relationship dynamics you’ll want to know about Shyam and Amelia! Plus you just won’t regret it! 🔥This is my favorite of all 3 books. Her writing went to another level in this book and in my opinion is her best work. You’re not going to want to pass this one up!

    Having read Power and Empowered back to back I instantly started looking forward to this third installment! I was so glad to get into this story and how i got into it quickly. I enjoyed this third book!

    This first book in Jai and Claire's journey had my attention right from the prologue! I really liked getting into their minds and their story! I wasn't sure what all was going to happen and I have so enjoyed the way this series continues to keep me on my toes!

    With Control, Ms.Woods has created such a good read that has me excited for more!

    Yes!! Finally, we get the long-awaited book 1 of Jai and Claire’s story! I’ve gushed about how much I loved Shyam, but Jai stole my heart! I absolutely loved Jai and this book!

    Control by Victoria Woods is the third of four books in the Power Series revolving around the Sethi brothers. Power and Empowered and Shyam’s story and should be read prior to Control. Control is part 1 of Jai’s story. Control takes place about five years after the ending of Empowered and Jai is in control of the Sethi family business. We know from Empowered the drama and danger surrounding Shyam’s departure from the business and Jai’s subsequent assumption of said business. Now there’s a new threat to Jai’s family and his family business. One that will ruin the peace in Jai’s life.

    Jai is dominant and needs control in all aspects of his life. He meets Claire, his niece’s ballet teacher, and his world turns upside down. Claire has secrets and dangers from her past which she hides from those around her and she prefers to be alone for fear of her past rearing its ugly head. Jai hides the dangers of his job from his family and Claire. Jai can’t help his attraction to Claire and wants to break down her walls.

    Jai and Claire fit together so well! They’re both secretive, prefer control, and I loved it! We see different sides of Jai and Claire as they spend time with each other and honestly, it makes me love them more. I adored the relationship Jai had with his niece and nephew; it was so sweet! There was suspense, mystery, twists, and turns. We find out Jai’s secrets, but Claire’s past is a complete mystery until the end of this book, which ends in a completely unexpected cliffhanger. I did not see it coming and I’m so excited for the conclusion of Jai and Claire’s story!

    Jai is a dominating and commanding crime lord in business. He doesn’t have that OTT/JP mentality that his brother has, only because he’s only ever been second in command since birth. He makes a lot of mistakes a long the way because of this.
    He is a huge playboy. Never been in love either, so when he starts chasing this very, young woman around, he’s confused by his feelings. He doesn’t always treat her respectably. Luckily, she’s no pushover and tells him to go f himself.

    I love Claire and everything about her. I think she’s has a good head on her shoulders. She just wants to make enough money to keep her electricity bill on and keep to herself. But why though? What is she hiding? Why won’t she answer some basic questions? Very intriguing. However, you get some of these answers in the very last chapter of the book, but then there are even more questions that leave us on a cliffhanger!

    And can we talk about their chemistry? Holy mother Mary of all that is hot and spicy! I LOVE IT!! That very first scene in the club with Claire and Jai was so flipping hot!! WOW! Talk about dynamite explosion. I’ll have one of those, please and thank you.

    The storyline is great and we get to see Jai character development. I feel like Claire is stronger than him, mentally speaking. Even though they’ve both been through terrifying ordeals, I’m more drawn to Claire.
    When certain scenes were left untouched or just vaguely talked about on her side, I knew there’d be a really good story there. I was not disappointed when some of it started to come to life.

    Move over Shyam, Jai just took your throne. Literally. (And kind of figuratively because I was most definitively salivating and pledging fealty to a fictional boyfriend, but I digress.) (Still love you forever, Shyam. Okay, enough parenthesis.) Control was unputdownable—Victoria’s done it again with the latest addition to the Power series. Shyam’s younger brother, Jai, finally has everything he vied for—but with great power comes enemies; trouble is brewing and all that control Jai thought he had is quickly slipping through his fingers. Claire, our FMC is a young ballet teacher on the run from her heinous past; she too quickly realizes not even she can pas de bourrée couru herself away when the very person she’s been fleeing from—and nothing can prepare her for what will happen when both sides collide. Control offers everything fans of the Power series have come to expect from Victoria: a mouth-watering storyline, fast-paced action, hot and steamy scenes, characters you’ll swoon over, and another *insert expletives here* cliffhanger. I cannot wait for the next instalment!
