    All six of this series involve the siblings--two brothers and two sisters--of the Duke of Winchester, and their travels through the perils of courtship. Each story involves a sib, with the duke's story last. Each makes an unusual match, and each story involves some perils and shenanigans involving the H and h. These stories are well written, witty and best of all, well edited. If I were to offer one small criticism, it is that all end rather abruptly. I am now deep into Book 2, which involves the family's five cousins just returned from America.

    I have just finished the Ducal Encounters Series 1 and encourage, no insist, that anyone who enjoys novels which stir all the emotions to read anything Wendy Soliman writes. I plan to devour the Series 2 novels starting now!

    having read the previous books in the series back to back and found them each in turn very difficult to put down and get on with anything else. This was the thread that ran through those stories that needed a conclusion. The characters and storyline draw you in and keep your attention until the final page. The story did seem to finish more quickly than the others The book could be read as a stand alone but makes more impact if you are aware of what has gone before.

    I thoroughly enjoyed this book I have enjoyed all the books in the series but this one was one of the best because it was Zach’s story but as he has been there throughout all of them it was lovely that to see his love for Frankie was not just on the last few pages well worth a read.
