But I’m telling you I would happily volunteer to be rescued by Bennett any day of the week and twice on Sunday if that is how my rescue went down. All rescues of damsels in distress should be handled this way. Exactly.This.Way!! You will understand when you devour this book. And devour it you will. TRUST ME! There will be no adulting, no distractions great enough to break your reading stride. I was legit transfixed by this story. Is there any genre, any troupe Siobhan cannot crush?! I think not!!     Condemned to Love is the first book in the Mazzone Mafia series by Siobhan Davis. It’s also the first book I have read by this author, though it won’t be the last because this book is fire!

    At 13, Sierra Lawson had a huge crush on her oldest sister’s 21-year-old boyfriend Ben Carver - he’s gorgeous, sweet, and one of the few people who has ever shown her kindness. Years after Ben suddenly disappears, Sierra has all but forgotten about him.

    At 21, Sierra is in Las Vegas celebrating her birthday when she flashes on the radar of a terrifying mafia don who forcibly takes her to use and discard. Sierra doesn’t see a way out of this nightmare until she sees Ben - now Ben Mazzone and don of the Italian mafia. Ben is compelled to rescue Sierra, and the two share a passionate night together before Ben coldly dismisses Sierra from his life. When Ben reappears six years later, his goal is to protect Sierra from his mafia enemies.

    This book is AMAZING. The story is well-plotted, fast-paced, action-packed, and filled with excellent characters. The author does an excellent job of creating the Mazzone mafia world. I especially love that she takes time to let us get to know the characters. I am looking forward to reading the next books in the series, especially Alesso and Serena’s book.

    Quibble - Much is made of the character of Terry Scott - who he was to Ben, his real identity, a missing box - and then nothing. There’s no explanation or closure, and I would have liked more. I thought it was going one way, but I was wrong. Maybe there will be more about him in the next books.

    I’m a late fan of Siobhan Davis’s work so I’m circling back and reading these books in order! Siobhan has a true talent for writing mafia romance! Ben and Sierra’s story will take you on a whirlwind. Ben has always been Sierra’s secret crush… but her sister met him first.

    When these two encounter each other later in life, there’s an instant attraction that fateful night that sets them on a path neither could have predicted. There are a ton of surprises in this book, which is what Siobhan is brilliant at. She can take a story and give it so many twists and turns you’re not sure what’s going to happen next. She always writes with an element if danger and suspense. I absolutely loved Ben and Sierra’s story and can’t wait to dive into Leo and Natalia’s story!

    What an amazing standalone! These can often be hit and miss for me but when I saw it was the brain child of Siobahn, I just knew it was going to be special and boy I was not disappointed. This book has a bit of everything angst, alphahole, strong fmc, suspense and intrigue as well as soak your panties hotness from Ben and Sierra, a longing for more of the supporting characters (which thankfully are planned in the next to books, hello Alessandro and Leo *droooool*) and finally the sweetest (and realistic!) HEA! But my utmost fav thing about this author besides her unique stories (rydeville elite!!) And strong, hot, complex and down right drool worthy characters (sainthood!) Which this book has in abundance but also the extended views into her characters. She gives snippets into the future beyond an epilogue and the scene she sent wrote for her fans from Ben and Sierra's visit to one of the sex clubs is freaking hawt! I loved everything about this book and author. I cannot wait to see what she has in store for Serena and Natalia.

    Siobhan Davis and mafia equals GOLD! I expected it to be something great and it was spectacular.  Ben is very much the alpha mafia man but not in an over-the-top way many books portray. He is a intelligent and looking to the future of la familgia. Sierra is the kind of woman I'd like to be friends with. 

    Their story is not an easy romance and their are many twists and turns in this book you won't see coming. I look a book that makes you think and try to figure it out. The mafia is portrayed in a well thought out way and shows the struggle of modernization.

    There are so many other great characters and I am thrilled more books set in this world are to come. If you like a good mafia romance, one click this! You will not be disappointed.

    I'm normally not a fan of Mafia books, but I'm a big fan of siobhan davis. So that why I started reading this book.
    And let me tell you she didn't disappoint yet again.
    Its a amazing story with characters who develop during the story.
    I couldn't put the book down it was that good.
    I would give it more than 5 stars if it was possible.

    I loved Ben and Sierra, after Reading the Accardi twins a while ago I had bits of the history and relationships already. But I'm so glad I read this getting it from the start and how the Commission started in more depth. There were so many twists and turns in this read it was greatly placed.
