    This novella is a follow-up to "Bent, Not Broken." We get to spend a little more time with Madden Polunin and Evan Slater as they settle into domesticity. There's no major obstacle to overcome. Evan's last partner on the police force, Paxton, has suffered through the death of his husband and gets hired into Evan's private investigator business. He's there as Evan tries to work through his personal issues of being in a relationship with a man, thus we get the cover image of a guy sucking on a lollipop. "Curved" was fast and fun. The lesson seems to be that when you love someone, you make compromises and trust that they have your best interest at heart. Enjoy!

    I loved this! It was hot and sexy, but also brought a much-needed harmony to Madden and Evan's relationship. The way Evan continues unbending to open up more for Madden is beautiful and I just love them making the effort to make their relationship work long term. Communication is so important and it's so rare that I read stories that present characters that NEED to take and then they actually do. We didn't get a lot of that in the main story so this is just a perfect coda.

    This further explores the relationship between Madden, and Evan while he further explores his newfound bisexuality.

    Evan shows his gruff, and sweet sides fumbling to understand how to make room for his person in his life.

    Madden is like the excitable puppy that pees all over everything.

    After a rough beginning, they find their polar opposite puzzle pieces fit together to make a whole.

Just as many laugh out loud moments as Bent Not Broken. Still want more of them as they have so much more to explore in their relationship. Keep them coming guys.

    I could read a book of these two just doing laundry together and enjoy it. Luckily this was even more exciting then sorting colors and whites. Evan and Madden are probably two of my favorite characters in NG and that's saying something because they all are fantastic.

Grown street wise men so naive and clueless?? Faked angst to have a modicum of a story.

    This was a great little novella, and a dastic way to explore Evan and Maddens relationship. I absolutely loved Bent, Not Broken, and the way this expanded on that story was fantastic. Lots of novellas are like fun vignettes, but I felt that this progressed the relationship in a realistic and necessary way. A must read!

    I love Madden and Evan, they must be the most realist couple I have ever read about. They just make me smile because they want to be together, want to please each other and just want to be a normal everyday couple. Love to here more, maybe them getting married, kids etc, it would be real and fun.
