Daring the Devil (Reigning Hell Book 1) Kindle Edition
Book 1 in an exciting slow burn young adult reverse harem series!
Hell hath no fury like its princess...
Every sixteen-year-old thinks her mom is the Devil sometimes. But Kiera Morningstar's mother really is the Queen of Hell. And she expects Kiera to earn her right to the throne by taking a soul. When Kiera fails--again--her mom banishes her from Hell to live among humans.
At least, that's what she wants Kiera to believe.
When Kiera lands at Miss Molly's School for Troubled Teens, she learns that someone is dead set on de-throning the Morningstars by any means necessary, including stealing the key and opening the Gates of Hell.
Now, demons are free to roam the earth--and both Kiera and her mother are in danger.
Even stripped of her powers, Kiera refuses to be a meek princess. With the help of angels, saints, and an oddball group of human friends, she sets out to recover the key and close the gates.
But what she finds instead could change Heaven, Hell, and everything in between.
DARING THE DEVIL is Game of Thrones meets The Godfather meets The Exorcist--get your copy now for a Hellish good time!

- Reviewed in the United States on May 30, 2017I am new to these authors and I wasn’t sure what to expect when I read this book. In point of fact, I didn’t even know the book was a YA book; I just really liked the look of the cover. Well, I have to tell you that this book was a pleasure to read! It was well-written, the plot interesting, and it was hard to put down. Yes, there were times it was a little over the top, but those times made the book even more fun than it already was. I found Kiera/Kasey to be a sheltered demon, but not without smarts, someone who didn’t know much about the world (any of them), but wasn’t TSTL, and I really enjoyed her dealing with her exile to Earth. One thing I also really enjoyed was how her and her friends came to be friends. There were even a few points where I was surprised by events (can’t say too much as I don’t want to spoil it), and I’m not easily surprised. All-in-all, this was an extremely fun read and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next one! Highly recommend!

- Reviewed in the United States on August 11, 2018Unique, funny, and suspenseful take on Hell. Kiera is the Princess of Hell and has to take souls to one day be Queen. Yet, she can’t do it and is banished from Hell to live on the Nest - otherwise known as Earth - as a troubled teen.
No spoilers.
Just read it!
- Reviewed in the United States on September 19, 2017Not being a YA for many years I found this book a tad uninteresting but thought it would be a nice read for 12 to 14 years old. Very few errors in editing and with a bit of a convoluted plot.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 12, 2017Interesting and fun take on Lucifer and Hell. Keira as a character is very sheltered, but she doesn't fall under the regular tropes of a sheltered/naive character. She's intelligent and strong, even without her powers, is very likable and relatable.
I especially liked how female centric the main characters were, especially making the ruler of Hell a woman.
Can't wait for book two!
- Reviewed in the United States on June 4, 2017The Princess of Hell - a princess who cannot collect a soul...
A princess who is banished to Earth as punishment...
A princess who, at the end of the day, needs to save Hell, Earth and her mum, the Queen of Hell...
Or else, damnation for all in Hell, Earth and Heaven.
I loved this take on Hell/Lucifer - instead of a him, there is a Queen and a Princess of Hell. I absolutely adored this fresh and unique take of Hell (and Heaven) - the history and the family dynamic. Really enjoyable read from a new, refreshing and welcoming perspective - a teen Princess of Hell.
Filled with demons, Hell, angels, souls, humour, banishment, powerless, danger and a hint of romance.
Perfect for readers of paranormal romance/urban fantasy.

- Reviewed in the United States on September 17, 2017Fun story as well as fast paced. Read it in a day. Looking forward to the next book. Seems destined to be a great series.
