- Reviewed in the United States on April 25, 2025The ending series he's you wanting more. Narissa is still learning what UT means to be a wolf when she goes to hide with a pack. She finds some surprises when she gets there
- Reviewed in the United States on March 25, 2024Ok so the book is getting more interesting, but man there just seems to be a lack of speed with this. Is there spice..ehhh maybe 1 🌶️ but you don’t read about it. It’s very “safe”.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 6, 2024Will Naz ever be safe? Keep reading this brilliant series and we will see what trouble she gets into and if she ever truly finds safety for herself.
This a fantastic, fast paced series.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 5, 2021Hard lessons learned. Emptiness filled. Rinse and repeat- not meant here sarcastically. Look at yourself. You will never know how bad it was for the others in your life until you are old and grey-if you are even luckier, you will never know. Sacrifice and betrayal. Narissa is learning too fast and too young. Lock down your heart and Katie, bar the door. This book is hard on the nerves but hopefully, not all is lost .
- Reviewed in the United States on March 30, 2022Sometimes a series loses some of it's impact, but not this one. It kept you guessing. Also Nas is a b---h! Crude, rude, and still has you understanding a tiny bit. So interested to see what the signed document is,??????
- Reviewed in the United States on April 22, 2024I enjoyed this installment better than the first. This picks up where the first ended. Calin is taking Naz to the werewolf pack, but things aren't all warm and fuzzy. The characters are showing more development, the storyline draws you in, and the cliffhanger leaves you breathless.
Nice read.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 23, 2023Second book in on this series and I still loved the characters and I have to say, I loved the fact that Narissa/Naz is a bit of a tomboy. I personally was thrilled she wasn’t the vapid cutesy girl that was more worried about her makeup than actually doing what she needed to.
The focus gets tighter in this book and the characters have to face some hard truths and a lot of growing pains are faced as well.
This was definitely a winner for a sequel and set events perfectly for the third book to pick up and run.
Family friendly for 16 and up.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 1, 2023I saw your question about unpublishing and was curious. Here’s my feedback. I liked the world. I thought in the first book it took a long time to kick off and she was whiny about going after her dads killer, first 1/3 of the book is tinny, no momentum. You need a better “story motivating first scene” and bluntly some additional personal interests. She’s 2d. Second book flows better, more personality is shown and she shows personal growth. But. All the situations are straw men, propped up for her to knock down and there is too much exposition. So. It needs a rewrite and first cover to match the next 3. But don’t toss it. Give the first one more punch and personality and show, don’t tell in second. The premise is fun and the world is great. Not my fave, but not bad.

5.0 out of 5 stars Deception
Deception surrounds Naz. Werewolves, vampires, witches are all playing mind and life and death games. Who can she trust? Will she survive? Enjoy the run.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good story but frustrating main character
I loved aspects of this book, but I struggled to fully connect with it at times because Naz is just so frustrating. At times, I felt like shaking the book just to shake some sense into her. Overall, I am enjoying this series and looking forward to getting stuck into book 3.
