    First, I want to say finally Judas was caught. Lukiyan is a secret weapon, a man who feels he has nothing to lose. Persephone is a lost young lady who is searching for love. If you have followed the Dark Syndicate series, you will enjoy this story more. To me, it's the perfect beginning to a new series in which well will get to see other characters like Aiden and Massimo come back.

    Good story, but it's not what I have come to expect from this author. This felt rushed. The plot was good, and the characters were likable, but they failed to connect. The passion and romance were missing. Their coming together was so unnatural. No fire. The editing had minor errors that can be overlooked. But the writing had no natural flow. It lacked the cohesiveness that this author normally produces. It felt very rushed and predictable. You could see the ending from the first 5 chapters.

    The book was okay. Seemed a bit rushed especially in the beginning. I enjoyed the plot. I wish the story was longer so we could enjoy the character development and the romance. I wasn't a fan of the author's decision to include a sex scene in the first chapter of the book. I prefer sex scenes to be added a bit further into the novel such as 30 % in to allow the chemistry between the characters to be developed.
