    Kyran may be a Dark Warrior, he may fight demons and skrim on a daily basis, but he has his own personal demons that he has yet to deal with, instead of pushing them under the surface all the time and numbing the pain with alcohol and deviant sex.

    Mackendra may hide the scars on the outside with tattoos, but the scars on the inside run just as deep if not deeper, and she is pretty stubborn once she gets an idea in her head. She's been told twice now that the villains she's been fighting aren't vampire like she thought but skirm, and that vampire are good, but she refuses to listen.

    When good friend Elise has a premonition of a fire at her home, Kyran is there is rescue her before anyone else knows what has happened, only probably, somehow Kyran and Mackendra slip though a portal to another realm that no one can seem to open again. Now they are stuck together, and she still thinks he's the enemy, to find a way home!

    Deviant Warrior is the story of Kyran and Mackendra, and although most of the book is focused on them in the realm they landed and their struggles trying to get home, we do see the rest of the warriors on this side doing everything they can to find a way to get to them to help. Turns out the Goddess knew what she was doing when she trapped them away from everyone else with only each other to depend on.

    This is the third book in the Dark Warrior Alliance, and it is amazing in that is brings some light on the history of Kyran and Zander, their upbringing, and their parents deaths. Kyran has always blamed himself, even though he was still a child, and his mother pleaded with him not to show himself, to save his brother and sister. It takes a hard woman like Mackendra, who grew up without the loving family he had to get him to see through his guilt and pain.

    I'm serious, I can't get enough of this series!! I have enjoyed them all and wanted to learn more are more about each character. I honestly hope that are at least two more planned beyond what is already planned. They have to to hit everyone in the family at some point, or at least I want them to hit everyone!!

    These books just keep taking me to new worlds, new feelings, storylines and plots I've never read before and Kyran and Mackendra's is no different . As twisted and sexyally perverse as Kyran is when he must save Mackenda and himself after the Goddess decides they need a "time out" on the hostile dragon planet, with the only way to survive is by depending on each other . Mackendra is having none of that !! She kills " blood suckers " for a living and as far as she's concerned the only good vamp is a dead one; as she shoves a knife into Kyran's heart and runs . Only to find out she will need him to survive the planet and get home . The twists, turns and punches keep coming, but slowly their walls come down and their hearts soften, but will it be enough to get them back to Earth alive ? 5⭐'s for another major leap in the world building of the Dark Warriors by Trim & Julka . I received a gifted copy of the book and am voluntarily choosing to leave an honest and unbiased review.

    I have been following the "Dark Worries" from the beginning and fine myself enjoying another novel. I like when Brenda and Tami characters banter between themselves. It brings the humorous side of the involved characters and draws the readers into the storyline. An it also makes the novel more of interesting to read. Meaning it is not the same old genera is storytelling. Worthy keep it up.

    Wow! Way to keep a series going. It felt like a long time since I had read the first 2 so I re-read them b4 reading this. That just reminded me how great these girls are in pulling us into their world. You can catch up without, and the main characters do get a HEA, so they could be standalones. This is really not a cliffhanger but does end with a lead in to the next. I absolutely loved our main characters, a strong female and a tormented male always make a great story. A series not to be missed for all PNR lovers!

    A series that just keeps getting better. This time Mackendra and Kyran are tossed together then thrown into another realm to face nasty demons and disgusting ogres and dark fae. Their banter and arguments delighted me with the humor and sharp sarcasm. As they search for a working portal and a way home their adventures kept me quickly turning the pages. I was a bit concerned about Kyran's dark affinity for BDSM (as noted in the two previous books) and did not want to have to read about any descriptors of same. Fortunately, the subject was treated intelligently within Kyran's story as Mackendra softened his dark proclivity. Whew, for me. I love a good vs. evil tale that is not smarmy or so vile I have to walk away from the book. This novel satisfied in all areas. Definitely looking forward to more tales of the Dark Warriors and their mates.

    Loved this story. It is very different from the other books in the series so far because Kyran and Mackendra slip through a portal and end up in another realm with no way to get back. It gets even stranger when Kyran has to explain that he is a vampire to a woman who considers herself a vampire hunter (I am not going to tell you what she does to him when she finds out!). Then, to make matters worse,they discover they are mates. As they try to figure out who they can trust, and fight off Fae creatures that want to eat them, they become closer and realize being mates isn't so bad. It will take some help from Mack to heal Kyran's old emotional wounds and he, in turn, will heal hers. They also make an amazing discovery about Angus, the Dark Warriors' majordomo, that is going to bring change to both realms.

    Why not five stars? There are some typos, Kyran's accent is not consistent and I could use a glossary or something for the foreign words and obscure terms. Still good enough to want to read more however.
