Full Disclosure (Real Estate Relations Book 1) Kindle Edition
Camden
I'm desperately trying to make a fresh start as a real estate agent. Getting a call to list a house while parading as a hot dog for a few bucks seems like my lucky break. Then things go sideways. My apartment is burglarized, and getting caught half-naked while squatting in my own listing is a low point. Meeting the sexy-voiced stranger who is now my client and realizing he has a gorgeous, cold boyfriend? Major bummer. But hey! I might sell a house ... if all the odd questions about my client don't get in the way.
Reid
I'm a washed up US marshal turned bodyguard, and even that's lost its appeal. A leave of absence to deal with a house I inherited in Kansas seems like a good opportunity to get my head straight -- but when my boss asks me to help a witness being targeted by a gang, I decide to take him with me. The guy is a criminal, but he's young and gay, so we set up a cover as a couple. Of course, I wasn't counting on the gorgeous real estate agent who makes me want something more in my life. When he starts asking questions, do I set him straight or risk losing him for good? And then there's still those gang members to think about ...
Story includes inappropriate attire, gunfights, flirting while in a fake relationship and male/male naughtiness.

- Reviewed in the United States on September 20, 2018A really cute sexy read. Interesting characters and an engaging storyline made this a great series opener, I'm looking forward to the next book in the series, Buyer's Remorse, because I can't wait to see Lee find his HEA.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 28, 2020Moment of honesty here… I picked this title up as I’m “in the business” and so the blurb appealed to my real-life ventures. After reading it, I must say that I love how DJ Jamison gets the small details of the real estate world right in 'Full Disclosure', incorporating them into believable events and moments. Down to what realtors will do to get the deal done. Hint… it’s not always pretty!
A money-pit of a home, an assignment to guard a pretend boyfriend, lots of suspense, and one serious infatuation with a realtor make for a humorous labor of love.
Part-time gigging as a literal hot dog while hoping to get his real estate business off the ground, Camden is down on his luck and just looking for a break. Reid, former US federal marshal, is now being forced into a leave of absence from his current security job. Disenchanted, he wants something more from life.
When an “off the record” assignment leads Reid to protect an ex-con, he’s forced to take Lee – under the guise of his much younger boyfriend – across country with him to his newly inherited home. Meanwhile Camden has been forced to squat in his freshly acquired listing (Reid’s house) and when Reid arrives, Cam definitely makes a lasting impression on the man, if not a good one.
As these two men work together to get the neglected home ready for sale, they get to know one another and a spark of attraction leads to flirtation and several humorous moments. Camden’s bestie, Miguel and Lee left me busting a gut… and Cam himself is a charmer.
Leave it to Cam’s infatuation and suspicion to get the better of him. When he finds out Reid and Lee’s truth it’s a bit more than he bargained for but opens a new path for him and Reid. Which leads to “seduction by paint brush”. Honestly, this is some of the most delightfully charming foreplay I’ve read.
DJ Jamison builds a suspenseful backdrop with Reid and Lee in hiding and adds to it with mystery break ins, holes that appear around the yard and a greedy ex-family/realtor on the prowl. It makes you fear Reid and Lee’s secret will get out and not only risk their lives but Camden’s… and maybe even he and Reid’s budding future. You can feel the mounting tension and yet the author delightfully squashes it at just the right moments. She tidies this suspenseful tale up with a peek into the future in a charming epilogue which leads into book 2 of this Real Estate Relations series.
One thing I found surprisingly enjoyable in Full Disclosure, since I am usually not a fan, is the superb use of first-person narrative. It makes for a delightful read that really lets you connect with these characters. And even though you can tell where this story will lead from the start, there’s almost a comfort in the realization. That from despair and disenchantment can bloom a beautiful, historic home… and a future for two delightful men.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 16, 2017This is book 1 in a very exciting new series. Camden ia trying hid luck in the Real Estate game and Reid comes to town to claim the house his Uncle left him he enlists Camden to assess the repairs needed ready to sell the property. But Reids reason for being in town are that he is protecting Lee who is waiting to go to trail for witnessing a crime.
A great story looking forward to next instalment.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 14, 2017This book was okay, but I never felt connected to either MC.
Reid has been put on leave from his personal security job, he cannot go back to being a Marshall. He is pretty sure he does not want to do protection work anymore, but what is he supposed to do then? Queu life limbo. Until, a job to watch a witness off the grid lands in his lap. (For some reason, he can't be trusted to guard celebs or witnesses in an official capacity, but off the grid without supervision or anyone to report to is just fine). So, he takes his charge to the house he just happened to have recently inherited to hide out until the hearing comes around.
Cam just cannot catch a break. He has recently left his rich, alcoholic, abusive boyfriend and is living in a tiny, run-down apartment. He is taking odd jobs to make ends meet (which they rarely do) as he tries to get his real estate business off the ground. He finally lands a big opportunity to sell a house for an owner who lives outside of town. He does some cringe worthy, unprofessional things and then meets Reid, the home owner, face-to-face in a way that eventually becomes a running joke between them.
What ensues is a story of convenient happenstance and some very light suspense. The story lacks a bit on the romance development as the two MCs spend half the book either not knowing each other or unable to spend any time getting to know each other due to Reid's job.
There is a bunch of time spent on Camden's friend, which feels like set up for future books. I'm fine with meeting characters for future books, but I want it to have an affect on the current storyline. Really, a lot of that was convoluted and made no sense for the story line. If we lifted out all the parts about Miguel and his boyfriend, the story would have been fine and not lacking anything except pages.
In the end, Cam and Reid figure it all out (both personal and professional). But the story as a whole was a bit meh. Not a whole lot of chemistry and light on suspense. And instead of focusing on other relationships and past relationships, a bit of focus on the two MCs, with more on page romance building would have gone a long way for me to feel invested in their relationship and future.
One of the most suspenseful parts of the book was the epilogue which sets us up (again, has no bearing on this particular story) for what I assume is the next book. That alone makes me want to read what comes next in this series.
2.5 ish stars. We will see if the series gets better.

- Reviewed in the United States on September 17, 2018Camden and Reid had immediate chemistry and felt very right for each other. Camden needed a man who could appreciate his inner qualities and not just his looks, and Reid... Well he just needed Camden.
This story felt real and realistic, despite having witness protection and gangsters, the main focus was on more everyday actions and feelings.
I'm looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 16, 2018The beginning promised a MC with spirit and a smart mouth. Something I love in some characters and made me want to read this book. The character remained engaging throughout the story but lost a little of his mouthiness. Still I loved him and and his relationship with the other MC. Entertaining. Kept my attention. Well written showing good editing. Always a plus. Ready to read the next in the series.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 16, 2018Loved Cam and Reid, their chemistry was amazing. Loved the mystery, story line and attraction between them. Wonder if Lee will be in the next book. I do like all the books this author puts out.

5.0 out of 5 stars Thoroughly enjoyable
Loved the journey of down on his luck Camden, so broke he will take on any job while trying to get his Real Estate business up and running. Reid has been left a property by his great uncle and employs Camden to help. When Reid comes to town he bring his 'boyfriend'. But Camden and Reid strike flames, not sparks but flames. Come along on the twisty ride in a book the is well written and full of characters, good and bad. Totally recommending it
