    Wow! I loved opening this book and diving into the world of Swallow Cove. From the punny, funny names for businesses in the town, to the fantastic group of characters, Dock Tease, was everything I wanted, and that's not even mentioning the main characters, Hudson and Fisher!

    Fisher has had a crush on Hudson, an older man, in a rivalry with his father. Hudson isn't sure he's cut out for a relationship, after his failed marriage. After deciding to make a series of "firsts" for Fisher, Hudson and Fisher have to decide just where their relationship goes from here, and where their futures take them personally and professionally.

    DJ Jamison always knocks it out of the park in creating small towns and the friends and family that inhabit them. I loved that, aside from the romance between Hudson and Fisher, that part of the plot dealt with small towns, tourists, and a closed resort, and what selling it, could mean for the town. Hudson and Fisher's romance builds nicely, and I rooted for them to have their HEA.

    If you love small town romances, humor, low angst, and great secondary characters, Dock Tease has all that and more. I can not wait for Brooks and Skylar's story!!!!

    Oh this was so much fun! DJ really writes small town stories so well and I am such a sap for them. This is the first in a new series about Swallow Cove, a fabulous little fishing town with the most amazing people and store names with the perfect amount of innuendo to make you chuckle! This is Fisher and Hudson's story and it was great! Fisher has been harboring a crush on Hudson since he came to Swallow Cove 5 years earlier on the heels of his divorce. There is tons of adorable and clever flirting and all Fisher wants is for his first time to be with Hudson. Hudson is resistant thought because he is 20 years older than Fisher and has a combative relationship with Fisher's dad. But Hudson cannot resist his pull to Fisher and gives in, which leads to some smoking hot scenes as Hudson introduces Fisher to all his firsts! Whew it was hot but also so sweet and swoony with the perfect amount of snark thrown in. Fisher was such a fabulous character. Smart, persistent, passionate, and just adored by everyone. Not only was this an adorable romance, it was also such a fun look into a close knit town. There were a slew of awesome characters that I cannot wait to learn more about in future books. Bring on Brooks and Skylar, I am dying to know what's going on with those two!

    I loved this book. As in all of her other books/series, DJ is starting this one off with a good love story. Each of DJ's books not only has a great couple to bring together, she also gives us great side characters that will bring us more love stories for the series. I love that each book incorporates all these characters in each other's books. These characters become family.
    In this case we have Hudson and Fisher, forbidden fruit and innocent love that makes for a great romance. So glad they find their way to each other. Both are stubborn, but have good hearts and in Fisher's case, determination. Can't wait to read more.

    I loved this book. I love the fact that Fisher had a crush for so long, but Hudson didn't see him that way until he was almost forced to, then had to get out of his own way. It's age gap...but it feels like they are in the same place. Heat is 10/10, but the love story is perfection. Can't wait for the next book in this series. I want to move to a lake town like that! Already pre ordered.

    I grew up in a small town and am familiar with everyone knowing your business. DJ Jamison manages to write these romances so well. I love the quirky town of Swallow Cove and its residents. Fisher and Hudson have a sweet romance but not without its faults. Even though there is an age gap, Fisher is mature and goes after what he wants. Hudson takes a little convincing but when they come together, the chemistry can't be denied!!

Fisher is such a breath of fresh air, he is genuine and sweet and deserves everything he wishes. Getting together with Hudson wasn't easy, Fisher's dad detests him and Hudson doesn't see himself worthy. Fisher's friends were a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to continuing this series.
