    I can’t stop reading these books. The author takes you into the character’s thoughts and actions. You feel link you’re right there with her. Taylor is a believable person as you read how she handles the cases at her FBI job.

    Another big change for Taylor in this episode with a new partner to work with, and a serial killer that is killing someone every day. A couple of suspects are found who would seem very likely to be the guy, but prove to be innocent of the crime. Meanwhile the killer is relentlessly piling up bodies putting a lot of pressure on Taylor, and her new partner Wesley. Add all the disasters in her personal life, and you have an exciting book!

    I really enjoyed this book, and highly recommend it. Looking forward to the next one!

    Take away the words “pooling”, “sweat” and Taylor’s constant repetitive ruminating….Must Taylor always “burst into the room”? The book is full of reused descriptive phrases and even a typo or two! The plots follow the same formula in each book. Why is the FBI even involved in what should be a local police case?
    Please give this woman a friend and stop walling everything inside and trying to be so tough when she could open up her emotions at least when she is by herself.
    Yet I keep on reading because I want to know what happens with the missing sister.

    Taylor has to adapt to several things: a new partner, another problematic case where the killer calls attention to fake people/things, her divorce from Ben, and a marriage that she now believes was fake too.
    A good plot, full of insights that might apply to anyone's life, and a story that certainly provides entertainment!

    If it can go wrong, it will go wrong in this book for the main character. Great characters and story, trying to work when everything in your lift is going down the drain is hard. Seeing a tarot reader’s as often as she is, not good. I really liked this book it shows not everyone has a great life. Received this as an ARC book for a honest review.

    So, I got the first book in this series for free. Liked it, wanted to learn more about the main characters, etc. Read the second. Not bad. Got to the third. Yikes. Maybe I missed this before or maybe the writing is going downhill. Frequent typos were annoying but thinks like, "He'd find out soon eventually" and Later this week followed up by in 2 weeks, started to drive me crazy. Each of these books is basically the same as the last with different serial killers. They catch the person, oh, wait, they don/t."Another person dies. They violate all procedures and face near death. I'm done.
