Elementals 4: The Portal to Kerberos
Audible Audiobook
– Unabridged
She will venture into hell to save the one she loves.
After being betrayed by one of their own, Nicole watches helplessly as Blake is snatched into the prison world of Kerberos - along with Medusa's head, which is the one item they need to stop the Titans from rising again. Now, Nicole and the other Elementals must enter the portal, find Blake, and bring him and Medusa's head back to Earth before the deadly monster Typhon returns and wreaks havoc on the world. But there's one catch - their elemental powers don't work in Kerberos. In a dimension designed to make those within it lose touch with reality, and that's filled with dangerous creatures who want to stop them from completing their task, will they make it out alive?

- Reviewed in the United States on June 2, 2017What a crazy emotional what the heck roller coaster ride of a story.... Michelle really knows how to keep us on our feet with this book series. I felt that I went on this crazy journey with the characters in this book. I didn't know whether any of the characters would make it out alive halfway through this book. I really loved the relationship between Danielle and Erebus. What started out as salt and throwing verbal daggers at each other they learned to build a kinship of trust and friendship and probably more.
I didn't know if I could trust Erebus while he was helping the group save Blake and get the head of medusa back from Psycho Ethan. I felt that through this story really friendships were made and sacrifices for these characters own happiness were really put to the test, but through it all it was a kinship that could not be broken.
There was a lot of heartache and physical pain that these characters went through just to save those they loved and cared about. There was a lot hard choices that had to be made in order to do the right thing. Even though these characters wanted a different ending to this story and the now present and future sacrifices that are being made so that they can go back and somewhat change the past to save Blake and Kate.
This book was full of adventure, heartache, pain, and through that the characters didn't loose their witty salty sarcastic sides to themselves no matter what forest, they had to walk through or mountain they had to climb or what creature they faced or will face in the last book... I hope that all will end well for all the characters.
This book had a major cliffhanger ending but an ending that makes me want to go read the final book; "The Hands of Time" to get the closure I need for this incredible book series. I highly recommend this book.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 13, 2016Michelle is back with the fourth installment in the Elementals serious. I am not much of a young adult reader but since book one I have been hooked. The characters are well developed and quite frankly I have been sitting on the edge of my seat through each book.
Michelle did a great job in taking us through Nicole, Chris and Danielle's journey through Kerberos. She depicted this world so great that quite frankly it terrified me. Nicole, Chris and Danielle were awesome in their own right. Each stepping up to the call of duty knowing they could not use their powers. They had to make tough decisions and deal with horrible conditions but they still pushed forward.
I can't wait for the final installment!!!
This series is a must read!

- Reviewed in the United States on May 30, 2023The journey the elementals chose is full of danger in their endeavour to save the world of potential destruction from the titans. This next chapter takes them to Kerberos and the dangers within and there are many. Nicole, Chris and Danielle were awesome in their own right. - Reviewed in the United States on July 29, 2019Review was actually written in December 2017. I never got on here to post it.
I'm still loving this series. It just jumps right into the action. Which I love because I can get bored easily with books in the beginning. It really keeps me interested. I'm so glad that I already have the last book because the ending on this one was epic. I just hope the conclusion to the series is amazing. (P.S. I read the last book already and it was good too.)
- Reviewed in the United States on August 17, 2018!!!!!!!!!Spoiler alert!!!!!
After fighting Medusa the kids are betrayed and have to go into kerberos where they have to go through the worst areas they ever been. I only gave it 3 stars because the main character nicole was getting on my nerves the whole book with her stupidity over dramatics. In this point of the series she should be getting smarter not dumber
- Reviewed in the United States on May 9, 2021The suspense never stops. I'm starting to wonder if this series is going to have a good ending or not. Looks like some may not make it to the end.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 21, 2020This is my favorite book in this series so far. It shows that even though things don't go as planned you must keep moving forward to find a different solution. I hope what they lost in this book can be found in the next one.

5.0 out of 5 stars better & better
The series is getting more intense with each book. The characters are growing more are joining the story as time goes on. Who’s next? My only hope is that they can cure Kate and blake will be ok.

4.0 out of 5 stars Dayum!
I was really exciting to continue this series as it just kept getting better and better! I love the charcaters especially the main character Nicole it was kinda nice to see her lose a bit of her control in this one and for some of the other characters be there for support. One thing about these books is friendship is such an important theme and its great to see that thorugh anything they can get a long but also be honest.
It was great also to see new characters come into it that shaked things up, can't wait to see what happens next.
My only issue was the pace at times it felt a little step by step instead of flowing but that ending :(

4.0 out of 5 stars This is a great series.
I am really loving this series but whilst I found this to be a great book I preferred book 3.
The journey the elementals chose is full of danger in their endeavour to save the world of potential destruction from the titans. This next chapter takes them to Kerberos and the dangers within and there are a few. It has twists and turns, some predictable, that keep the group on their toes. There is a lot of walking, new enemies to face and tragedy strikes. Danielle has certainly stepped up in this book.
