Felix (Elite 8 Studios Book 6) Kindle Edition

4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars 1,234 ratings

What more could an exhibitionist want than a willing voyeur right next door?

Emil

I like being watched. I’m not ashamed of it, nor my job at Elite 8 Studios where fans know me as Felix. But when my newest costar turns out to be the very same neighbor I’ve been giving private shows to through the window, I’m thrown for a loop.

Christian is gorgeous—a toppy femboy with a love of skirts and belly chains. He’s every bit the Vixen his moniker would suggest. Yet, for whatever reason, he seems enamored with me. We’re quickly thrown together to pilot a series of live stream videos, and our chemistry is off the charts.

But when Christian starts coming over, cuddling with me on the couch and bringing food for my hermit crab, I know I’m in trouble.

Christian may be my coworker, but before that, he was my voyeur. And my friend. He knows me in a way so few others do, but intimacy for me is complicated.

Can I trust Christian with my heart? Or is mixing business, pleasure, and
love bound to blow up in my face?

Felix is a neighbors-to-coworkers-to-more romance between a nerdy, bespectacled exhibitionist and his smitten voyeur. There’s scorching fun in front of the cameras, two mouthy performers, sweet dates and adorable hermit crabs, friends who show up when you need them, and one very HEA. It’s book six in the Elite 8 Studios series but can be read as a standalone.

    I loved everything about this book! Christian and Emil were wonderful, separately and together. This was such a fabulous romance that brought all the feelings. There wasn't any drama, or miscommunication, or third act breakup--just two men falling in love, which which such a joy to watch. Both Christian and Emil had some emotional baggage they were dealing with, and despite both of them being of the mindset that they didn't want a relationship, they just fell so naturally together as they spent more and more time together. And they were just so incredibly sweet together, it was adorable and had me all fluttery! And let's talk for a minute about their time together between the sheets, both on and off the set...woah! Scorching hot! Christian just got Emil and knew just how to turn him on and they both just brought the heat! And as hot as it was, it was also so tender and intimate, and you could feel the love between them. There was also some backstory with Emil and his family that was handled really well and never became over the top dramatic. Christian's grandma was amazing and of course we have the entire gang, past and present, from Elite 8 around often as well! This was such a supremely satisfying story from beginning to end!

    When an exhibitionist meets a voyeur! No spoilers in this, just a quick review. This is such a sexy and sweet story. I loved Emil, the nerd with a wild side! And Christian, in my mind, is just freaking gorgeous in his skirts and crop tops! They make such a great couple, such great chemistry. I loved the surprise meeting! Just an overall great way to end the series.

    Felix is the final book of the Elite 8 series, and Emmy has once again delivered a pairing that will incite extreme flail kicks and laughter, schmoop-induced swooning, melt-your-face spicy times, and all of the associated squee-ing and screeching. Add in Emmy's mad skillz with the themes of Intimacy and Consent? Yeah, this is a good one!!!!!!

    Welcome to the neighborhood, indeed.
    *intense eyebrow waggle, rolls off couch*

    Emil, or Felix, is our psych grad student and resident Elite 8-er with an exhibitionist kink. His across-the-alley neighbor, Christian, who has been subscribing to his apartment window content for months, shows up at Elite 8 as new talent, Vixen. Christian is a seamster in his spare time, and not only does he make blouses, but he IS one. Alex wasn't the only person excited that Christian is a Femme Top 😉🫠🤭

    Emil is used to being overlooked and blending in - but Christian really listens to him and notices him and SEES him. Meanwhile, Christian associates love with loss and misery - but getting close to Emil has him rethinking his stance on relationships. The growth and understanding these two experience together is So Incredibly Special to read.

    There's also appearances from our Elite 8 favorites (which is everyone, btw), so the found family vibes are on point! The sheer amount of joy I experience when Alex is on page is overwhelming.

    Lastly, here are two random thoughts I had while reading this one:
    💚 "Facials From Someone Who Isn't Your Beloved" would be a really interesting memoir to read.
    💚 Dixon to Alex: "How in the hell did we get from DP to feelings?" SIR - I've been asking myself the same thing for months since reading Tink!

    I highly recommend reading the first five books in the series before this one to fully enjoy the experience, which is no hardship - this entire series is excellent and will forever be one of my favorites!

    “But sometimes, heroes go unseen.” 😭😭😭😭

    This book follows Emil (AKA Felix😏), who’s a psych major, and who recently moved into a new apartment. Not long after he moves in, Emil receives a friendly letter from his neighbor (AKA Christian AKA Vixen) notifying him that he should probably close his curtain when he’s participating in certain ✨self-care✨ activities. However, little does Christian know that Emil is an exhibitionist who THRIVES on being watched. This letter, and the fact that Emil does not, in fact, close his curtain, is the start of their “friendship”-with-exhibitionist-and-voyeur-benefits 👀

    Then to top it off, Christian becomes Emil’s newest costar in Elite 8 studios, and their meet cute was MEET CUTE-ING — I swear I swooned so hard 🥹🤍. I adored how their relationship developed and their interactions with the other Elite 8 costars, and their families. I also loved how Emil and Christian’s struggles with their family issues/baggage were depicted. They were exactly what the other one needed 💘

    Alsooooo, Christian’s dirty mouth and the way he was smitten was EVERYTHING. And, crab daddy???? Ugh something about that made me swoon so hard 🤭

    This was the first book I read in this series because I just couldn’t resist this ARC, but not surprisingly (because Emmy just has that power), I was obsessed with all of the other Elite 8 costars. I’m excited to read the other books in the series (especially Teddy and Malibu🥹).

    All in all, I would definitely recommend this book if you’re in the mood to smile, blush, and swoon 💗

    What to expect:
    * 🌽 star MCs
    * Neighbors to coworkers to lovers
    * Nerdy exhibitionist x Femboy
    * Live stream videos 😏
    * Found family

    I didn't think any book would top Teddy for me but oh, oh Felix you beautiful, emotional, amazing story.

    Emil/Felix and Christian/Vixen were impeccable, from their spicy first meeting to their happily ever after I loved them from start to finish. I loved how they grew together, finding their commonalities but also reveling in their differences.

    It was amazing as always to see the rest of the Elite 8 crew pop up, past, present and future. As Emil says near the end of the book, this feels like the turning of an era, so many of our original boys have retired or moved onto other jobs but seeing them still stick around and stay friends with the rest of the crew is incredible.

    I also loved the new characters we met, Noel and Max, Grandma Park, Rebecca and Henry... great editions to an already amazing cast of characters.

    I'm really, really hoping this won't -actually- be the end of our Elite 8 group, but if it is... it ends with a hell of a bang and a whole lot of heart.

    I have read all 6 of the books, and I absolutely loved the series, and I'm so sad it's ended. My favourites are Malibu, Himbo and Felix. I really really would have loved a story with Brad from Himbo, Jason's best friend. However, I can't wait to see if the stories continue.

    Emmy Sanders is one of those authors whose books I read and think "this is my favourite" for every book in the series. There were significant aspects of both of these characters that were incredibly relatable. I also really appreciated that there weren't any silly, out of character miscommunications or nerve wracking third act break ups or dramas. This is a story about two people used to going unnoticed or existing on the fringe finding one another, and truly seeing the other person for who they are, and falling in love and finding comfort in one another. It's beautiful.

    I love them. I’ve read each book in this series as quickly as they were released but never made it to leave a review but these guys. THESE GUYS. Something about Christian and Emil has forced my hand to share just how much I enjoyed them. They’re perfect. For each other as characters. Just two guys who happen to do porn finding love.

    The angst was almost nonexistent and I adore a light read with heavy steam.
