    I love “role switching”. I loved that the omega who everyone thought was going to be an alpha bc of his size and need to be in control finally falls head over heels for an alpha that’s strong enough to ditch the Roxi masculinity and be versatile with the love of his life.

    Heat level 3/5? The smexy times were hit bc of the dynamic between the couple. Reasonably detailed love scenes with a good plot.

    Jace (the omega) had his worked turned upside down from thinking he was an alpha to knowing he was an omega. That left insecurities in him if he’d ever find a strong enough alpha to love how strong he was. Good thing Najee’s, his alpha loves him enough to explore his own sexuality and find out he really loves that they can BOTH be versatile and LOVE it lol ::happy sigh::

    I also liked that there was depth to the plot. The main plot is the romance but the subplot of them adding to their family by also adopting was just perfect.

    Will DEFINITELY be reading more by this author!!!!

    This book is all full of sweet, cute and lovable moments. To be honest - too sweet for my dark soul. But it is what it is supposed to be, I couldn't expect anything else from such a short volume in the omegaverse genre. I hoped it will be a read that will pull me away from my thoughts, without being too engaging. And the story covered these expectations of mine, but now I know this is not my cup of tea.

Fated mates, the relationship blooms immediately and a night of passion results in pregnancy. Although a Cafe Om series book, not much occurs there. The book isn't overly long, but Cole paints these MCs with historic flashbacks where the "typical " alpha and Omega roles twist. A complete tale, it has all the feel-good's and warm-happy scenes without the romance angst. A very satisfying read.
