A new threat is rising...

The campground was supposed to be safe. Now, Will, Holly, and Charlie are left scrambling to save Dylan after he is bit by an Empty. After performing a field amputation, they’re forced to leave the campground and seek out medical attention for the boy, before it’s too late.

Home seems closer than ever for Gabriel Alexander, and the path before him is clear. At least until a routine stop at a gas station brings forth a new threat far worse than the undead creatures roaming the highways.

Empty Bodies 5: Damnation is the penultimate volume in the Empty Bodies saga.

You have to read these books in order to really understand & appreciate the characters and story line. At first I was hoping that this book would be the final one in the series. Shame on me! As I got closer to the end, I knew I wanted more. The characters are like old friends, you love their company. Great job Zach! The zombie apocalypse continues! I can't wait to see what comes next......

Zach does a wonderful job telling this story! Empty Bodies is one of my favorite series and they only get better each time. It's an extremley easy read and can cause you to lose track of time. Sad that the series will end with the next book but I have total faith Mr. Bohannon will put it to rest in the best way possible.

I just finished book 5 in the Empty Bodies series. I want to cry. Partly because of what my friends have gone through, yes I consider them my friends. The style of writing is so well done that you become part of the characters. Anyway, the other reason I want to cry is because I just realized there is only one book left in the series!

I really enjoyed the different take on zombies, not too far out in left field as to be silly. One thing that is important to me is to be able to visualize the different characters in a book. Zach has done a good job of giving each one their own personality, warts and all , so readers like me can put a face on his people. If you've ready for something a little different, give this series a try. I ignored all housework when I read each Empty Bodies book, I couldn't stand to put them down!!

He didn't finish the story. It says its a five book series, but he left me hanging. From the ending of the book I thought maybe he was going to come out with another one. But I can't find another book to finish this story.

I loved this book! So much happens that it's almost overwhelming. But so commanding the next page to read. It's impossible to put down. Good people keep dropping, some coming back as Empties. Sad when that happens. So far the main ones struggle on, hope that doesn't change. Zach Bohannon rocks!

Another great instalment of the Empty Bodies series…
Great storyline and continues where the 4th finished providing good continuity with the characters. The story has a good few twists and when you think you have it nailed up pop another. Last book to come will be interesting how all the characters tie together in the end
    Well worth reading
