About the authors
Barend Nieuwstraten III grew up and lives in Sydney, Australia, where he was born to Dutch and Indian immigrants. He has worked in film, short film, television, music, and online comics. He is now primarily working on a collection of stories set within a high fantasy world, a science fiction alternate future, as well as a steampunk storyverse, often dipping his toes in horror in the process. With ever seventy stories published in anthologies and magazines, and his first novel 'A Man Called Boy' now available, he continues to work on short stories, stand-alone novels, and an epic series.
A discovery writer not knowing what will happen when he begins typing, he endeavours to drag his readers on the same unknown journey through the fog of his subconscious.

Clarissa has always lived more in the world of daydream and fiction than in reality. In her writing she explores purpose and belonging across worlds. Having never found an actual portal to faeryland, she creates her own fantastical worlds where dragons, fae and other magical creatures rule.
She now lives in the Netherlands with her family, where she writes as much as they will let her. When not reading or writing, she drinks too much tea and has a burgeoning obsession with Bundt cakes.
Clarissa is the author of the "Dragons of Kaitstud" and "Lost Princess of Starlight" YA fantasy series, and the "Expat Life" series of non-fiction guides for families moving, and living, abroad.
She is an admin for the 365 Writing Challenge, an international group that supports people to build the habit of writing. And she is one of the co-hosts of the Reading Queens podcast, which discusses mainly young adult fantasy books and their major tropes. Find out more about her at clarissagosling.com
R.A. Clarke is a former police officer turned stay-at-home-mom living in Portage la Prairie, MB with two busy boys, a sport-aholic husband, and a couple of quirky dogs. She maintains her sanity by guzzling copious amounts of coffee and diving into fantastic worlds of her own creation.
Rachael loves fulfilling dreams and seeking new inspirations. As an artist, community theatre actor, and writer, her creativity never sleeps. She's currently working on a little bit of a lot... which includes writing a YA fantasy novel, a sci-fi adventure novel, and writing/illustrating picture books (under the name Rachael Clarke). If you have kids, feel free to check out her children's chapter book, The Big Ol' Bike, just released in November, 2020.

Cloaked Press is an indie publisher of Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and Horror. We were founded in 2017 and are committed to finding unique stories to delight the imaginations of readers.
Anstice has had her nose in a book and her head in the clouds for as long as she can remember. As well as reading and writing all kinds of speculative fiction, she enjoys tap dancing, gaming, watching retro movies and raving about books on her blog, Curious Daydreams. Anstice lives on the East coast of England with her wonderful husband, daughter and two mischievous cats. She has a BA in Literature and Philosophy and currently works full time as a Literacy Learning Lead in a secondary school, which she finds incredibly rewarding.
Her short stories appear in Fall Into Fantasy 2021 (Cloaked Press, 2021), Fairytale Dragons (Dragon Soul Press, 2020) and Masquerade: Oddly Suited (Dancing Lemur Press, 2019).
R. A. Meenan was born in London during the golden age of science fiction, and learned from the best and brightest authors of that time (though if you asked her, she'd call this "college" or "getting a degree" or some nonsense).
Now an adult, she uses her incredible imagination to ride-hop intergalactic military spacecraft, comb the outer reaches of space and time, and write science fiction and contemporary fantasy stories based on her experiences. She's also hoping to find the perfect cup of coffee and a better way to grow dinosaurs. Her books tell the experiences of anthropomorphic and furry military personnel and race driver shifters.
She lives with her wonderful husband and the pair have four furry children (which are really cats, but don't tell them that) and one human child named after a video game character. She also spends her spare time teaching essay-writing haters, molding them into people resembling Actual Students and Lovers of English.
She may not win the hearts of stiff military men or students who want good grades for no effort, but she certainly captures the spirit and imagination of time travelers, magic users, nerds, Students-In-Training, and fantasy lovers.
Andrew P. McGregor’s characters don’t stand against the apocalypse. They crawl out from under it, laughing through the blood, jamming something sharp down its throat, and flying their wrecked starships into something worse. He writes science fiction where hope is optional, ammo is not—sharp-edged, brutal, and sometimes grinning.
He is the author of:
Starships & Apocalypse – short story collections where cowardice and courage trade places, and survival often requires something explosive left in inappropriate places.
The Shellworld Conflict Series – set in a stellar-sized construct ruled by alien trustees, where humanity is a pawn, a weapon, and an excellent excuse for someone else’s war.
Matthew McKiernan was born in Cranford New Jersey in 1990 and moved to Yardley Pennsylvania in 1994. He graduated from LaSalle University in 2013 with a BA in English and History. He received his MFA in Creative writing at Rosemont College in May 2016.
His first short story, "A Leap of Faith" was published in "Skive Magazine" in November 2013. He has since published over twenty short stories in various genres, most of which are available on Amazon. His latest short story, "The Last Actor" was just published in "Spring Into SciFi 2025". He is currently editing his Science Fiction Novel, "Human" which he hopes to publish in the near future.

5.0 out of 5 stars Couldn't put it down
Absolutely wonderful anthology, the stories are all so well written and I was sucked into, or should I say I fell into, the fantasy with each story. I liked how each story was long enough to get you hooked in, some anthologies can be a little short, even for a short story but you are definitley not left wanting with Fallen into Fantasy. No story was alike despite the theme, each capturing the essence of fantasy perfectly. Definitley recommend for anyone who loves fantasy fiction or anyone who loves stories with plenty of imagination and heart.
