Fate and Karma in a Nutshell: How to understand your fate and change it for the better (Spiritual Nutshell Series Book 2) Kindle Edition

4.9 out of 5 stars 15 ratings

To most people alive today their fate is a big mystery. Why do certain events – good or bad – happen to them? Is there anything they can do about it? What creates fate? Can we change our fate? Is it at all possible to know what awaits us?
Yes it is! Our fate is ruled by laws and once we become knowledgeable about those laws, we can start sowing what we would like to reap. Because that is the point: the law of karma decrees that we reap as we sow – in this life or in a later life. We all know that if we sow carrots, it is carrots that we are going to reap, but most people are not aware that this is also valid for their non-physical manifestations. When we sow anger, we reap it, when we sow hatred, we reap it, when we sow love, we reap it.
This book takes you through the labyrinth of fate and karma and it reveals how to create a fate that you will love. It will show you that you can change your destiny. It will also show you how to avert a dark fate that you may unknowingly have sown in a past life. In short: when you have read this book you will have the tools to master your fate. Your fate is in your hands. Your karma is in your hands. When you master your fate, you can create happiness, bliss and joy.

Fate and Karma In A Nutshell: How To Understand Your Fate And Change It For The Better by Else Byskov & Maria McMahon appealed to me when I ordered it via amazon on August 16, 2020 for multiple reasons. One reason I feel comfortable publicly admitting is even with a multiple number of miracles and blessings I have experienced in my personal, professional, spiritual and other multiple areas of my life I am both logically and intuitively aware that there is still plenty of room for me to improve in this department though finding non-judgmental and realistic resources on how to do it is far from common and I am glad to have surprisingly discovered this kindlebook for one of those reasons. In a candid though encouraging type of vibe that there is still plenty of time for a reader to continue to transform certain areas of their life the authors provide among some of the insightful ideas: the authors explain why the laws of karma and the laws of attraction are intertwined, the authors explain a story about one of their friends living in Denmark who later moved to France and how karma played a role in their life, how the authors themselves were influenced by karma when they moved from Denmark to Spain, for some reason my spirit is guiding me to put the author’s discussion on why multiple civilian women during WWI tended to the wounded even if the soldier was from the enemy side rather than the ally side, the authors explain what they are communicating with their message never tempt fate, the authors explain the far from popular idea that sometimes a person’s wishes may have yet to come true in this current life could be their karma actually preparing for some of those wishes to occur in a future lifetime, the authors explain why many people meet each other when they are supposed to meet, the benefits and offers in challenges, the authors provide their interpretation on paying it forward, the authors provide a section on sowing good karma and averting challenging karma, helpful happy thoughts section, and more. The only caveats are that I wish that more information could have been featured on sowing good karma and averting challenging karma though this was helpfully counterbalanced by the happy thoughts section (which was very helpful to me because I now see that my intuition was indirectly influencing a happiness related book being recommended to me online). Even if you far from believe in karma, this kindlebook is worth checking out just for the happy thoughts ideas and some of the authors examples the authors shared of how karma played a role in their lives.

It has been decades since I took notes while reading a book - and used those notes to ask questions. Like most of us, I was raised with the "one-life" theory, and as a traditional (Latin) Catholic. I was fortunate enough, however, in that my upbringing did not dwell on an anger filled God, but a very loving God. I was also fortunate enough to have a mother who questioned a lot of things and loved to have discussions with us on her explorations into the answers to her questions, re-incarnation included. I've worked with Else and Maria in other areas of my life, and this is just one more piece of the jigsaw falling nicely into place. It ALL makes sense. Their style of writing is absolutely wonderful, no gobbledegook, just straightforward information backed up with examples. No judgment, no preaching, the books (including this one) just lovingly explaining questions we all have had at one point or another. Even the vegetarianism - do we ever stop to think, really? My health has degenerated over the years, and I and my husband are at a cross-roads. I can easily convert to vegetarian but him-not so much. So, I suggested baby steps - let's do meatless 2-3 days a week and see if that doesn't help. He's all for it, and hopefully we can 1) get back some of our health and 2) start clearing up that unknowing bad karma. Because of the help I've received from reading both Else and Maria, and interacting with them through emails (such wonderful ladies!), I no longer fear death and actually kind of look forward to the next adventure while making this turn better. YOU NEED THIS BOOK - simple to follow, easy to understand and life-changing. K. Bitzel

I highly recommend this book! Fate & Karma is an easy-to-read complete explanation of why we WANT to accept responsibility for our thoughts, which direct our choices and actions which ultimately create our world. It takes off the blindfold and clearly outlines the personal power we have in our lives.

Five stars ain't enough! This book will literally change your perspective on life and enhance the present and future for your soul. A lot of what we're were told to as a people wasn't the truth and here it is. I know for some it may be a hard pull to swallow but in the end love is the key. This book and series is written very well and easy to understand and your spirit will responate with it or the seed of awakening will be sowen. I'm very greatful to have discovered this book and share it with people I love to help raise consciousness and vibrations. I also recommend checking out the other books in the series from the author.

I think she and her partner pushed the vegan lifestyle too much. That’s the only part that didn’t resonate with me

5.0 out of 5 stars Misunderstood aspects of the ‘Mechanics of Life’ explained, imbued with profound Spiritual essence.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on February 17, 2020
This Nutshell series edition of “Fate and Karma” explores and examines 2 much-overlooked aspects of life as a human being and reveals an incredible mechanics which is happening to all of us in our daily interactions. You will quickly be able to relate to the ‘situations of life’ which Else & Maria discuss. These ‘situations’ are common and occur right across the globe. You will easily identify with them as having happened to you or someone you know or they may regularly appear in the news.

The content is precise, logical and well supported by the evidence of life. Else’s style of writing is to get to the heart of the matter without missing vital steps along the way. Don’t expect to be steered towards a deep spiritual meditative experience as you read the book. That may well come later but the content in this book will raise questions in you, it will suggest you look very carefully at your actions and thoughts…..and you will do just that, if you have an open mind. If you don’t wish to, no worries either but your memory bank will hold on to the content for a time when it will resonate with you.

There are ‘natural laws’ operating daily which affect our planet, the Universe and all the inhabitants. These ‘laws’ are personal and impersonal, but very effective. Else & Maria have clearly explained the laws of Fate & Karma, fundamentally revealed by Martinus (Else also reveals, as extra material, some of the insights discovered by Martinus).

I strongly encourage you to follow this “Nutshell series” as it unfolds. Life is so much easier if we can find a measure of understanding about it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Karma and Fate In A Nutshell.
Reviewed in Canada on April 17, 2020
Karma and Fate in a Nutshell revolve around the basic principle that apply to every human being. It is this principle that teaches us how to behave properly. The principle is that you always reap that which you sow. If you sow
goodness that is what you will reap - goodness. If you sow that which is bad, that is what you will reap- badness.
This is an excellent book and show several examples of each - goodness and badness. Remember that what you sow,
    you will Reap.

Once again, Else Byskov (this time with the collaboration of Maria McMahon) re-discovering the texts of the Danish Philospher Martinus, who thanks to her great work I have been introduced to. I love the way Else writes and the power she has to synthesize Martinus’ world picture.
This book is a must for everyone who seeks a better future because it has been written for all those souls who are trying to evolve, sowing a better karma each day.
Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
