Jayne and Rob are trying to figure out who is blackmailing them. Rob has hired a private detective to trace the money from the first letter.
Rob is leaving for work in China - Jayne is preparing for the grand opening of her restaurant with her business partner, Beatrice.
While Rob is in China, Jayne is doing some investigating on her own. Jayne goes to Cypress to track Andre Gaillard; he is the father of Celeste's child. When she returns home, Rob calls her to let her know he received a text from the blackmailer demanding more money. He also tells Jayne that the detective has found the blackmailer!
Rob and Jayne's relationship is strained; the pressure from all this is taking its toll.
Jayne takes matters into her own hands - she's travelled all over to find Andre and Giles - with no luck. She's now in Spain looking for Giles.
Rob returns to London - he's going to see his parents. He tells his mother, Denise, about the blackmailing. She tells him that Jayne may be the blackmailer. He storms out of the Astor home.
When Jayne talks to Beatrice - she tells Jayne to consider Rob's parents as the blackmailer. Rob and Jayne are growing further apart. Jayne believes that her mother, Eleanor, did not die in Zurich; could she be the blackmailer? She's on her way to Zurich to speak to the police about Eleanor.
Will Rob and Jayne find out who is behind the blackmailing? Will their relationship survive this ordeal?
