He not only can't kill Magnus, Wynn is falling for him. Together they will uncover a plot that could bring down the OAC; and Wynn will risk everything he holds dear to keep his alpha safe.
    There is danger, an unexpected heat, steamy sex, trust issues, and the true meaning of family. Trigger: there is violence and death.     I've enjoyed many books by Kiki Burrelli. I've been meaning to read this book for some time. Well one sleepless Monday morning after midnight I figured I'd listen to it until I fell asleep. Well I ended up hearing the entire book and that morning I was exhausted as I got ready for work. But I had experienced a wonderful story. It had been so entertaining I hadn't been able to fall asleep because I was enjoying it so much.

    The concept of Omega Assassins was novel. Who would suspect a little twink of being capable of being able to overpower a large powerful Alpha let alone more than one? It was a deeply held belief of the evilness of Alpha which these tough Omegas had continually experienced. It made the Assassins determined to continue to help give justice to hurt and murdered Omegas.

    I love the story. Watching Wynn accidentally find his mate, try to deny the attraction, and finally questioning all he been taught about Alphas. This is a violentvbut action-packed adventure filled romance. With twists and surprises at every turn.

Having the omega being a badass assassin was an epic first and I fell in love with Wynn immediately with his strength. I also enjoyed his tenderness as well as he found love with Magnus. I loved Magnus as well, an alpha who cares about equality and safety with omegas. ( lot of love going for this book) This book switched the stereotypes around in such a unique way. There was a lot of action, which is my favorite in a book, but there is also romance as Wynn and Magnus realize their feelings to one another. The bad guy turns out to be both manipulative and evil and it was great to see him go down. Love the secondary characters as well and can't wait to learn of the other omega assassins. Looking forward to the next book!

    Wynn is a part of group of omega assassin. On his next job, while compiling personal information on his mark, he learns that what is coming up in his search does not match the information in the assassination order. Magnus is an entrepreneur, creating an omega protection device that could have saved his brother life, and Wynn's newest target. When they figure out they are mates, and questions come up about the man that Wynn works for, Magnus and Wynn must work together to save everything.
    This is such a different look at omegas from the other Alpha/Omega books that are out there. While there is still the same Kiki humor throughout the book, there is a lot more violence than her usual books. While I did know this going in when reading this, and while I still enjoyed the book, there was a lot more violence than her usual. I did like how strong and just overall powerful she made the omegas. I feel that it can be considered a parallel of how strong people can be, despite being considered the underdog. Overall good book, and I absolutely recommend, just be prepared that this is not a fluffy rom/com story.

    This story just exceeded my expectations because I was expecting a nice, fluffy story about an omega who was eventually going to be rescued by his macho alpha. Of course from the blurb I knew that Wynn was an assassin but figured a little poison or stab in the dark. What I found was that Wynn is an action packed intelligent omega despite his small delicate form and Magnus is a brilliant alpha who uses his intelligence to fight against alpha instinctive tendencies and create a company dedicated to give omegas tools for their safety in an unequal world.

    Outstanding, written very well and a compelling world I want to dive into!

    I've read a few books by this author and I think this one is my favourite to date. The worldbuilding was well done, the characters unique and interesting, the storyline flowed smoothly and I loved how everything played out. It drew me in from the start and I ended up reading it in one sitting. I couldn't help but love Wynn - he was a little broken and jaded, but also so strong and independent! I loved his chemistry with Magnus and how Magnus treated him.

    My only complaint was I found the ending a little rushed. After how well paced the rest of the story was, it went just a little too fast and was a little light on detail that I was really hoping for. It was still a sweet ending though.

    Looking forward to reading more in the series, and would recommend this book to others.

    Our Queen of all things sugary and sweet, went all fervortime when she described this as darker than her norm.
    And maybe it is for some....but for someone hard-core like me 😂, this was the sugary sweetness that I want from Ms Burrelli.
    Our bad-ass Wynn is an Omega assassin (oh yeah 😁!). Since a very early age, Wynn has been trained to take-out (permanently) Alpha’s that are abusive and cruel to Omega’s. He has no moral issues with this - he’s seen how disrespectful and abusive Alpha’s treat the overall Omega population - so he goes in, does the job and then leaves. Wynn implicitly trusts his Boss to know the good guys from the bad guys....until he doesn’t!
    Has Wynn been manipulated all these years, been fed lies to line the pockets of others? And if he has? where does that leave him and Magnus?
    This was my kind of storyline - a good strong and very unique storyline, sexy sexiness, a m-preg AND a Smart toilet!
    Kiki fans are going to love it and if you haven’t read her yet, this is a good one to start your reading journey.
