Gruff, jaded, he’s got secrets of his own. Why do I want to ask him about those secrets? Why do I find myself wanting to know more and more about him…even as I have to hide the truth from him?
Alex: I didn’t want to take the case. My last client burned me so badly, I could never trust anyone again. Especially not Cam. But when his stalker reveals all, can I hold on to Cam…or will the truth tear us apart?

5.0 out of 5 stars This book opens up like peeling an onion--layer after layer as the plot thickens.
Find You Out has it all. Cam and Alex both keep secrets they can't imagine anyone could forgive. They're dealing with an internet attack on Cam's writing. His agent, Jane, hires lawyer Micah to deal with "Secret Reader's" ever-increasing attacks on Cam. Micah hires Alex to try to rehabilitate Cam's image to his readers. The threats, plots within plots, and all around lies and misreprentation of the truth are plentiful enough to keep the most demanding reader entertained and guessing what's next. This book opens up like peeling an onion--layer after layer as the plot thickens.
I couldn't put this book down. Suspense builds as each accusation is posted. Will Cam get his life back and be able to write more books? Will anything come of the attraction he feels for Alex? Will they find out who Secret Reader is and stop the online attacks? The end is such a surprise!
- Reviewed in the United States on September 5, 2018Find You Out has a bit of everything. We get romance, steam, scandal, and suspense with some twists and turns, and secrets - loads of secrets. Cam has his fair share of those until someone starts sharing them online in some mysterious vendetta against him. Alex is brought in to save the day and of course, he and Cam are drawn to each other. The problem is Alex's fear of secrets is about equal to Cam's determination to keep them. The story does have a bit more angst than I normally prefer, but much of it surrounds the mystery of Cam's online stalker, so is certainly warranted. In fact, this one kept me guessing right up until the end. Even when we know who, there's still the how and why left to puzzle as things start to come together. Then there's the romance between Alex and Cam. These two frustrated me a bit with their push and pull, but even when I wanted to give them both a good shake, I still couldn't help but root for them. All in all, another engaging read from this author.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 5, 2018I enjoyed Rachel Kane’s Lost with You and expected to do the same with Find You Out. Unfortunately, it includes a scene of unprotected sex with literally no discussion first, which I know happens in real life, but I expect better from fiction, especially when it did not significantly advance the plot. Hence the three-star rating. I also kept waiting for the main characters to redeem themselves, but it took them almost until the last chapter, by which time my patience had run out. I will continue to read the author’s books, since I’ve liked the previous six I’ve read, and not let this one color my opinion.

I received an ARC from the author. This is a complicated tale with flawed characters and a great plot. You'll definitely want to read it from cover to cover!
- Reviewed in the United States on October 9, 2018This story makes me think of a boy crying wolf in a wearied way. This book was written beautifully and definitely gets the reader emotions going as I've read (I wanted to throttle Cam in this)
Cameron was his worst own enemy with his attitude pushing people way. And then there's his lying, secrets and truths always come out in the end. He desperately needs help he fails but luckily Alex is there despite his best judgement.
This includes a smokin hot sexy scene with a bit of bondage (bareback with no talk of health safety first), other scenes of angst. The Secret Reader in this was pure evil but they get whats coming to them in the end.
Cameron was a mystery writer wanting to write a new dark story different from what he currently has. Cam has trust issues but also hiding something from his past.
Coming home to spray paint doors and then finding a crazy "Secret Reader" who targets him.
Alex and Micah had once been friends when he asks a fav for his sister's client. Alex had become a recluse since last client destroyed him. As a PR image consultant was his past job he didn't want to come out of retirement. (KU)
- Reviewed in the United States on October 7, 2018I thought this was a great read. Cam and Alex definitely have a candle burning for each other.
The book flowed well and the characters are well defined. I would recommend this book to adults.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 6, 2018Cam is an author that has been targeted and all of his secrets are coming out. Alex was a PR guy and is asked to help clean up Cam's image. They both have secrets, trust issues and feeling for each other.
This is a good read, with a lot of ansgt and it takes until the end before the two MCs get their acts together.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 9, 2018Wow! This was a powerful story in so many ways for me. It is rare that I feel so much for a character that I want to DO something to help them, but that was how I felt about Cam. It was so unfair that some troll could destroy someone's life and for what...a few dollars. It felt so realistic. How many people, especially young people, have been driven to despair or even suicide by this kind of online bullying? The story was intense, and I almost stopped reading it when I thought there was not going to be any justice or resolution for Cam. The back and forth, and lack of understanding between Cam and Alex drove me nuts, and I was glad when Cam finally stood up for himself against Alex's domineering ways. I really thought I was going to be unhappy with the ending, but the final chapter rescued the story for me. As a secondary character, I thought Micah was great, both for Cam and Alex. He really was a good friend, whether Alex realized it or not.
I received a complimentary ARC. This is my honest, voluntary review.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not keen. Spoilers.
First time read for me by this author and I have to admit I wasn't too keen on it.
I didn't particularly like Alex and found it hard to comprehend some of his unprofessional actions and yo-yoing insta feelings for Cam. Cam grew on me but I think I expected some of his secrets to be worse than they actually were (there are some things the reader doesn't learn about in any depth but are made aware of), although I understood his need to re-invent himself and want to keep certain things private. The secondary characters were ok but you don't really get to know much about them aside from their jobs. The reason behind the whole internet targeting/stalking of Cam was a bit of an anti-climax, I thought it was going to be more personal and the person involved would get their comeuppance in one way or another, but that just didn't happen. Unfortunately I don't think it does in real life either, which is a shame.
I'm happy the MC's got their happy ending, I do like a happy ending, but unfortunately I wasn't invested in them or the journey they took to get there.
Sorry.
