    This was anther great story from M.A. Innes. Sexy and kinky, yet still full of sweet feelings between Nathan and Gabriel. Nathan's so-called friends are horrible (with the exception of Mark, who has his own story in Curious Beginnings), and I was happy that Gabriel was ready and able to take care of him. I loved the way Nathan couldn't keep any of his thoughts in his head. That just made him cuter and more fun to read about. I hope to see more of this relationship in the future!

    Would you consider the audio edition of Flawed Perfection to be better than the print version?
    Yes. When I read the ebook, I gave it 4 stars, which meant that I really liked it. Hearing it performed just brought it more to life for me, and I had to add another star.

    What was one of the most memorable moments of Flawed Perfection?
    Nathan learning to wag his tail cracked me up. I also liked when he stood up to his so-called friends.

    What does Kenneth Obi bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
    Kenneth Obi did a great job overall, but especially with Nathan. I felt like I was in his head with him as his thoughts flitted all over the place. The sexiness and innocence shone through as well.

    Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
    It made me laugh a couple of times and smile often.

    Let's start off with a bit of a confession. I love reading M.A. Innes work. Just do, something about how genuine and respectful she is with the community she's writing about and the specialness of her characters makes it something that makes me happy.

    Okay now to Gabriel and Nathan. They are adorable together, there is an age difference, not a huge one, more implied than overtly stated and lots and lots of control.

    Nathan is searching for something he doesn't know how to ask for and Gabriel is less defined but sweet in his care for Nathan. As a Dom Gabriel's inner monologue was kind of driving me as nuts as it was driving Nathan.

    Yes the book is emphasizing respect and care, especially when Nathan's friends turn out to be judgey douchebags. But one thing I think was missing from the story was trust.

    Trust that even if mistakes were made they could be worked out together. Still worth reading, still hot as all get out. Still sweet enough for those of us with wicked sweet tooths... Just read the book. And then read everything else the author puts out.

    I want to start off by saying that I love the authors writing. I'm aware the topics the author writes about isn't for everyone, but I enjoy what some call the taboo subjects. To me it just shows love and relationships come in all forms, there isn't a right way or a wrong way, it's what's perfect to you.

    Nathan is so sweet and I just love how his thoughts alway seemed to leak out. Unfortunately, Nathan was not sure who he was sexually because he never fit into what everyone said was normal. That was till he met Gabriel. Gabriel was able to give Nathan what he was missing and needed. It was great to see how their relationship went from roommates/friends to having a loving relationship. Sadly, we also get to see how others judge what they don't understand. I love how Nathan was able to stand up for what he knew was right and not feel like he had to justify/explain their relationship.

    Overall this was a sweet, hot love story. I for one love the puppy play aspect of their relationship. I really hope Eric and Marcus ending up getting a book as well. I would love to read their story.

    If your wanting to read something a little different and have an open mind, then I highly recommend reading Flawed Perfection by M.A. Innes you will love Nathan and Gabriel.

    Puppy Play is not a genre I read, but having met Nathan in the Inner Strength duet (Eric's story) and loving many stories by this author, I gave it a go. As usual, M.A. Innes delivered a loving story based on trust and communication between consenting partners that was a joy to read. I love this author and enjoyed this book!

    I really enjoy reading Puppy Play books, and the relationship between Gabrial and Nathan was a beautiful one. However, I felt there were only Two proper PuppyPlay scenes. It left me constantly wanting more. Saying this, it was a 200+ page book, so I can't complain. I would recommend this book, but be prepared for wanting more!

    This was an enjoyable and sweet read. I couldn't help but love Nathan, especially his lack of filter - that was so much fun and really well written. Gabriel was the perfect match for him, and the love and care between them was evident. While I didn't like Allie, I liked that we had someone like her in the story. So often BDSM themed books don't look at what the relationship would seem like to someone not aware of the lifestyle. Allie's heart was in the right place even if she didn't listen, and didn't trust her friend to know what he wanted - she took his submissive nature for something else and projected her own issues on Nathan instead.

    An enjoyable read, especially if you're looking for a first time foray into puppy play with a fun and sweet tone to the story. A book I would recommend.
