    After reading the second book, I’m still not connecting with the story. The book is good, but there are just points that aren’t for me. I’m here for a billionaire arranged marriage romance. I’m not here for a FMC that has zero backbone whatsoever. Some of her inner dialogue makes it seems like she’s finally going to stand up for herself, but then she just rolls over for whatever anyone says. The amount of gaslighting in this book drove me insane (I’m looking at you Hazel). She’s supposed to be doing this for her brother, but she’s only had maybe 5 interactions with him since this whole debacle started? I also stand by what I said after book one - I can’t read Bryce or his intentions well at all, and I think it’s because we only get Chloe’s POV. He says he loves Chloe and would stand and protect her, but I don’t see it. He’s not done anything to prove he views her as anything other than a possession. All of that aside, this book isn’t a bad book - I just didn’t connect with it. I might still read the conclusion to the trilogy when it comes out just to see how everything gets tied up, but we’ll see.

    Bryce is upset and needing Chloe to come back for 3 months to help with his family image. She is so heart broken from being fired that radio slience has been so hard for her to deal with. Her brother Noah is missing everyone too. Then a text comes through and she’s asked to go back for 3 months with rules. She says ok but she is prepared to harden her heart so she can make it work for her brother but falls for her husband who is still very much in love with her. But things don’t always work out for her.

    I enjoyed this book a lot. I came around to liking Daphne. She really isn’t so bad. I’m so happy Bruce’s brothers were in this book (do they have their own series??).Like Chloe said…Bruce gave me whiplash in this book. He’s really insecure and I’m guessing losing his mother, Felecia (is that her name?) cheating and breaking off the engagement, and Gene’s treatment of him have a lot to do with that. I can’t wait to read the next book! I hope these two find their way back to each other…

    We got new drama and new problems for the Windsor family and new twists and turns.

    We were introduced to Bryce's brothers (who might just get their own books; don't know).

    We got more emotional heartache for Chloe.

    But Chloe still hasn't gotten her own back where she tells everyone just where to go. Yes, she did with her father and Lydia but I can't wait for her to stand up for herself and take control from those on the island.

    Now to continue to the 3rd and final book of Chloe and Bryce.

    I got this series because I love the Billionaire collection. I always find edits that need to be made in each book though. However, while it might not distract some people, I had to go back and reread part of page 159 to make sure I didn't miss something. The name James is used, instead of Bryce. While this might not be a big deal to some, when buying books you expect to not find errors in every one. Some can be missed by mistake, but how do you miss something like the wrong name?
