It’s lust at first sight for both women when they share that instant connection, and Brooke starts to feel like maybe everything will turn out alright. That is until Monday morning when the interview panel includes Catherine.

Much to Brooke's utter heartbreak, Catherine declines to take the relationship further now they're working together. And she transforms from hot sexy lover, to an ice queen overnight. Adamant, despite Brooke's efforts to woo her, that Brooke must forget it.

She didn’t quite mean it so literally though.

When Brooke is injured on the job and loses her memory…she completely forgets Catherine…and now Catherine must face her own past and regrets if she is to win Brooke back and grab a second chance at love.

Claire Highton-Stevenson is a British Indie author. She writes heartwarming, Sapphic romance in contemporary settings. Claire's characters are bold, strong, independent women who love women.

However, she is also known to throw in a mystery or two. Claire likes to move around the tropes at will, and will often bend the rules to create exciting and often unique situations. She's not afraid to tackle darker topics either.

“There are some things the heart can never forget”. I don't want to risk giving away spoilers but I can say that this is a beautiful romantic story and I absolutely loved it. The author knows how to write the right amount of sweetness, humor and emotions. But of course, her characters make her stories so good too. Characters you can’t help but root for and fall in love with. I definitely recommend this book.

I like reading Highton-Stevenson books because they are uncomplicated and from what I've read, happy. This book is a good 3.5* for me. There are few grammatical errors, I think but am not too sure because UK and US terms differ, but that's not why it's only 3.5 stars. I felt that the lead up to the amnesia was pretty well done but what happens after was just too simple. And I stress the too in that sentence. It was like poof I remember so all is forgiven if you answer this one question right. I guess I was looking for more drama. What I really liked is that the story didnt just end with "I remember, let's rethink our relationship." It went beyond that. So, if you are looking for uncomplicated, simple, free kU book then give this a shot. I enjoyed it enough.

I pre-ordered my copy of “Forget it” knowing how great this author is with her storytelling and writing skills. As usual, I Loved it!
I've been waiting for something new from her and the blurb for this book as well as this cover intrigued me. How couldn't it?
I have to tell you, “Forget it” doesn't disappoint. This book has everything a great book should have. A dash of romance intertwined with some work place angsts/drama, a sprinkle of amnesia and some misunderstandings that eventually leads the MC’s to were they belong. It’s an easy fast read with an intriguing story line. My expectations were high, and once again just like all the Authors other books, she doesn’t disappoint!... 5 ⭐️

Brooke is fresh out of the army, to take care of her 12 yr old sister Robin. Their father had died several months ago and their mom had left them when Robin was around 4.
Needing a night out, Brooke went to the lesbian bar Art. There she spotted a beautiful older woman., Catherine. They meet, and have an incredible weekend together. When Brooke goes to interview for a job, who is the head of HR but Catherine. She gets the job, but confusingly Catherine doesn't want anything to do with her. When on the job, Brooke suffers a head injury and has amnesia, not remembering the past few weeks or Catherine. I read this book in one sitting!! 5 stars

A romance with twists and turns. A chance meeting in a bar turns out to be the best for both protagonists until it isn't. History turns out to be the villain in this story but it's romance so a happy ever after is essential.

Catherine and Brooke were so great together and their chemistry was off the charts, from the moment they noticed each other. They couldn't keep their hands off of each other. They were so sweet and loving to each other. I really enjoyed them as a couple. (I just think when a couple break-up for no good reason, the angst takes away some of the joy of their romance). But having Robin, Jasmine, and Amber added so much more fun to this story.

A great read with laughter and love. Again this author has yet to disappoint with a story about trusting love back in your heart. The characters are well developed and the dialogue between is light and fun.

As all your books , dear Claire , this one wad amazing. Even if one might think that this type of story is the same as other 'Lovers - to - Future Ice Queen Boss & Employee' , many unusual circumstances keep it alive and better. Thank you

I very much enjoyed this story. Amnesia trope is so very soap opera and early 90’s that I guess authors shy away from the idea nowadays. But CHS dared to conquer such tired trope. And I love it! There’s nothing more angsty than regrettable choices and things going as planned but in the worst possible way.

This is another amazing book by Claire Highton-Stevenson.
I was very pleased to see a total different style and with the same capacity than her other books. It is a lovely romance, with a bit of angst, and totally worth reading.
