Is this the last one? I was hoping for Evan to find his HEA. This is a very thought out and surprising end. Glad to see the guy on the front looks like the description in the book. You have some stuff repeated over a little too much but I like how you followed Colum's story. I'm glad you explained why it was a while for this to be released. I too am from a musical family raised around all kinds of music, my dad was a drummer in a local band. My mom played piano. Her mom was a piano teacher. My son plays drums and 2 nephews are in bands. Since the States is the home of many types of music and the origin of r&r. We have bands in about every town. I live and breath music. So I really enjoy to read about bands and when they are performing, even when its not real but my imagination takes me there. Hope to read more of your stories.

Having read Off Beat i wanted to see how the other’s stories would play out! I picked up this second book and got back into the Forgotten Flounders world. I enjoyed it!

Connor and Dare’s journey grabbed my attention from the get go! These two have been in each other’s lives for some time. Moments can change everything, something Connor knows. As Dare offers to help her, can they take a chance on their hearts and everything else, together? I couldn’t wait to see how it’d all go for them!

I really liked getting to dig deeper with both Connor and Dare! I didn’t know exactly how these two would navigate things. The chemistry between them was undeniable. I felt many things with both Connor and Dare throughout!

I liked being back in the Forgotten Flounders world as well!

With Off Limit, Ms.Hannigan has created such a good read with feels!

Just another one of Hannigan's books that I couldn't put down. She has this way of making the characters feel like someone you know.
I can't wait for the next part of this story!

This is my first read by Canadian author J.C. Hannigan. Let me tell you she has gained a new fan in me. I quickly fell in love with her writing style and will be reading more by her. Give me all the books!

After rockstar Calum Jacobs throws his little sister a celebrity-filled 21st birthday party, things lead to Dare McKenzie having a long time fantasy full filled in real life. Now he is determined to help all of Conner Jacobs dreams come true as well. Even if it means keeping secrets from the people closest to him.

Conner Jacobs has a lot on her plate with college, family, starting her upcoming career, and her secret desire to be with her brother's best friend- bassist of the Forgotten Flounders. Her life is planned out to please her father, but Conner has other aspirations. Trusting Dare, she shares her ambitions and accepts his offer to help her with putting things in motion to begin the process of making hopeful dreams come true.

They both go through hoops to keep their collaboration and growing feelings a secret. Will Conner be able to follow through with her plans or will letting her already fragile family down be too much to risk?

Off Limit is full of secrets, revelations, and tributes to the older generations and music while giving us a look into past and present life in Nova Scotia, Canada.

I went into book two blind and followed the story pretty well. Although, I would recommend reading book one, Calum and Hannah's story, before this to get the most knowledge and understanding.

4.75 stars only because it's a little repetitive in places. Otherwise a terrific read.

This is the 2nd book in this incredible series, and this is Connor and Dare’s story. Connor has had a crush on Dare since she reached her teens, and she is determined to follow her dreams and get into the music industry. When Connor’s brother throws a celebrity filled birthday party for her, the attraction between her and her brother’s best friend Dare is undeniable. Dare is the bassist in Forgotten Flounders, and he wants to help Connor achieve her dreams, so they collaborate in secret, hoping that her already fragile family will not find out about it. This is a well written story which has combustible chemistry, family, friendships, secrets, emotions, revelations, and love, which leads to a riveting and addictive page turner.
I received a free copy of this book via Give Me Books and the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I really enjoyed getting to know Dare and Connor they had a great chemistry and were made for each other.

Dare is Connor's brothers best friend but that hasn't stopped her crushing on him, what she doesn't realise is that Dare feels exactly the same. After a party thrown in Connor's honor ends in disaster she finds solace in Dare's company and as she reveals her dreams he vows to help her make them come true no matter what it costs them both.

A great addition to the Forgotten Flounders series from J.C Hannigan and I cannot wait to read more.

Even though a standalone and there is a different couple, I would highly recommend reading the first book to get a better understanding and knowledge for this book.

Now, here we are with Connor and Dare; these two are made for each other and I did enjoy their story.

Connor has a lot on her plate and her entire life is mapped out for her by her dad; but Connor has other aspirations and that has to do with music and what better people or must I say person is her brothers best friend.....Dare... I adored Dare so much; he understands her on a whole new level.

Dare the bassist for her brothers band and the person to make all her dreams come true; they keep everything they do together a secret from everyone... including her brother and the band.

The collaborate together, they are together, and everything is secret and betrayal. Will this be their only saving grace to keep everything secret? Will she let her father and her entire family down by doing what she wants to do? Or will everything come crashing down when things are revealed?

You will have to read to find out!

I enjoy the characters in this series so far. The small town drama is REAL. I am excited to read the third book when it arrives.
