Katie Wyatt is 25% American Sioux Indian. Born and raised in Arizona, she has traveled and camped extensively through California, Arizona, Nevada, Mexico, and New Mexico. Looking at the incredible night sky and the giant Saguaro cacti, she has dreamed of what it would be like to live in the early pioneer times.

Spending time with a relative of the great Wyatt Earp, also named Wyatt Earp, Katie was mesmerized and inspired by the stories he told of bygone times. This historical interest in the old West became the inspiration for her Western romance novels.

Her books are a mixture of actual historical facts and events mixed with action and humor, challenges and adventures. The characters in Katie’s clean romance novels draw from her own experiences and are so real that they almost jump off the pages. You feel like you’re walking beside them through all the ups and downs of their lives. As the stories unfold, you’ll find yourself both laughing and crying. The endings will never fail to leave you feeling warm inside.

This is a great book about a young lady that got tired of living alone. She had become an orphan at a young age and now she decided to become a mail order bride. The ad says he is a man that drives a supply wagon to carry supplies to the mining camps but in TRUTH HE only does this for another man so he can take them to the mining camps to find them a husband. She cannot understand why he doesn't seem to want to get to know her while in route. Many adventures await them on the two day trail

I love reading mail order bride books. I like reading about how the deal with the challenges. This book made me mad at the way they got brides and tricked them. And I just didn't like how things went.

This is a clean well written short story. I was given a ARC of this book. Flossie answered a mail-order bride ad. She moved to Durango in 1851 to meet her future husband only he was in a delivery service of getting wives for other people. While traveling the run into an avalanche that killed one of his employees and they lose a wagon and team of horses. God has a plan if these people's lives. I volunteerly leave this review.

Love reading Mail Order bride stories for light reading. Katie Wyatt is an outstanding writer. This is the first that I have read from her short story series. Most of you who read, I am sure, have read a Katie Wyatt book. I have this four stars because I read novels voraciously. As a short, light story I would gave this book a four!

A nice clean short story. Not the typical mail order bride - thinking you are going to marry the man you wrote to - then getting to know him - then finding out the plan was to had her over to one of the men who worked at the mine.

In 1887 Miss Flossie Meadows is working in a restaurant washing dishes and barely covering her room and board. She has been an Orphan for a very long time and use to living on her own. She reads an advertisement for a mail order bride and decides to accept.

Nick Richardson has taken out an advertisement for a mail order bride. But it isn’t for his self. He has a three-wagon supply train he goes to remote mining camps, the bride is for one of the miners and she isn’t aware yet.

He regularly delivers between Durango and Silverton, located at the top of the San Juan Mountain Range. When weather is bad it makes the travel difficult.

I enjoyed reading this story. Although the name of the story could use some help.
