The last chapter has closed on another series I’ve loved. If you want a funny, sexy romance series filled with the hottest brothers (and sister) around, pick up the GD Taylors series by Willow Aster and Laura Pavlov. As a bonus, they are free in Kindle Unlimited (the books not the authors 🤣) A hot, wealthy playboy. His sexy, down-to-earth best friend. What could possibly go wrong if they kiss? I wasn’t ready for this series to be over. Friends With Benefactors is a best friend romance with found family and taking a chance on your happiness. I thought this one was a bit lighter in the humor than the others but Penelope isn’t as ridiculous as her brothers are, so it was fitting with her character. But don’t worry, there were still plenty of laugh out loud moments between Penelope and Beckham. I’m still team Gus, but Beckham can hold his own against Penelope’s brothers and this reformed playboy stole my heart with his vulnerability. I loved watching Penelope and Beckham grow together as a couple and breaking down their walls. But the way in which they initially got together had me on the edge of my seat in giddy excitement. While I’m sad this series is over, I’m eagerly awaiting what this duo comes up with next

My favorite thing was that each book followed a certain couple but still had enough of the others that you felt like you knew the entire family so well. It felt so complete at the end.     Something that bothered me throughout the whole series is how they called their parents by their first name when discussing them with other people. Like “Melanie and Griffith are blah blah” or especially when Mya would say “Estella this and Estella that”. I’ve never heard people talk like that irl and found it really off-putting.

    Once they got on the same page they were amazing and then they had a falling out where they weren’t in the same book lol

    That only lasted a few hours though!
