This book steps way out side of the box! We are taken on a wild ride of sexual escapades that is unparalleled in any gay book that I have read so far. And I have read a lot of gay books! Without going into the pure smut ones, that is. Callum is a man afraid to make waves, afraid to make a decision, so he just goes with the flow, consequently; it ended up costing him his marriage and it may cost him his coffee shop. He's just a wishy-washy type of guy. And then you have his best bud Garrick, who is the absolute opposite; he's an official "womanizer" of the two. He even keeps a journal and has stats on them from the best to the just ok ones! He continually brags about he latest conquest's and what they did. These two guys love to play cards, they meet up almost every week. Things heat up one game night when Callum runs out of money and ends up loosing big time to Garrick and has to clean his flat naked. One thing leads to another. That's all I'm going to say, but believe me their is a whole hell of a lot more going to happen that will blow your socks off!!! Talk about taking a walk on the wild side, this is that and so much more! I can hardly wait for book # 2 too come out. This Author has written a really well done book. An avid reader in Rock Tavern, NY.

The writer kept changing Dawn’s name to Mandy. This was a good story. Garrick is a jerk and takes pictures of the women he sleeps for his ‘collection’. Callus is a sweet heart with a natural submissive streak. The last scene with Tim, Callum and Garrick WILL DEFINITELY NOT enjoy the scene with them. Garrick’s behavior is....questionable at best. I would love to read about Garrick, Callum and maybe David. That could be interesting.

This was ok overall. There is something about this authors writing that draws me in. Yes I know it's smut but it's pretty well written smut with a dark edge. The spice is hot!! The men are hot! The story is ehh.

Thoughtful, strong characters development, intrigue in story telling and a huge WOW effect is what Menzy has crafted with this most entertaining work. It is appealing because he writes about everyday, boy-next-door men who step outside their comfort zones and experience life as so many of us want to but never take the risks and therefore miss the rewards.

The work is sexy and daring, revealing sides of masculine characters so many prefer not to admit they own. The writer is able to present the multi-dimensional facets of male desire that is natural and commonplace but without judgment. Despite the perceived kinkiness and domination portrayed, true feelings and emotions lie just beneath.

I look forward to more works by Menzy and wish there were others similar to this one I could read now. I'd build a library of this kind of realistic and tantalizing storytelling as its occurrences are more common than most men will ever admit.

Lucky us who have been there and done that...and been HIGHLY REWARDED !

The sex scenes, which comprise a large portion of the book, are the only semi interesting part of the story. But I imagine that’s why people buy books by the author in the first place. Admittedly a lot of them are not very appealing unless you’re into a mild M/S vibe. The last part of the book, involving a humiliating three-way, is pathetic.

The main characters themselves were at turns irritating, unlikable and downright unbelievable. I’ve always wanted to visit New Zealand but after reading this book I’m having serious second thoughts. Give this mess a miss.

There's a few gramattical errors, your instead of you're. Not enough times to bother the reader much. The author did care to build a good plot lead up and it held pretty well as opposed to other books in the same category. The non-sexual interactions between characters could use some work, but wow...

When it comes to the explicit detail, the author knows is on mark every time. I would've like to see a little more internal stuggle with Callum losing his dominance, but the struggle was there. I could read more and more. The interaction with Tim was perfect, I wish we got one more "Game Night" after that. That's all I'll say there. Worth the quick read.

I'm mixed about this book. On the one hand, Callum and Garrick were super hot together, and I really felt that there was chemistry between these two characters. On the other hand, Garrick was so manipulative and spiteful that I have a very hard time believing Callum's faith in his HFN. Pretty much the only good thing that I can see is that Garrick doesn't seem to go back four seconds after he's made a conquest.

I will definitely read Game Night 2, when it comes out, to see if the author can redeem Garrick for me.

I loved this book in the beginning. I was willing to put aside that Garrick takes pictures of all the women he takes to bed and calls it the collection. I was willing to put aside Garricks rude and narcissistic personality. It was just part of the book. I was accepting of that. But the last scene between Callum, Garrick, and Tim changed this from a five star review to a two star review. Here's why.

First of all Tim is drunk and had just smoked a joint. Then Garrick manipulates him to have a threesome. How can Tim really give consent when he's under the influence??? And what Garrick was saying to get Tim on board was how he would be honored to have sex with Tim. How he's never been with someone as beautiful as him... Those are the words that he used to get Callum to sleep with him in the beginning!!!! I know that Garrick was trying to mess with Callum, but it rubbed me the wrong way. It was a special moment between them and Garrick cheapend it, by using the same moves on Tim. 😤 oh, and Callum's sister is being targeted by someone but that goes no where.
Overall it was an ok book, just the last scene leaves a lot to be desired.

I gave it 5 as I read it to the end and liked so many of the characters, but I found the main very dominant character very disturbing and cringed a lot and put it down several times ...it was a bit much at times.

I ploughed through 25% of this book and even that was a task. After 25% I came to the conclusion that I did not care what happened to any of the main characters in the tail. The story was mind numbly boring and there was no light at the end of the tunnel. Any book where you can read 25% and have no empathy for any character or interest in the story is just a disaster. I have other books I want to read on my kindle so I was not going to waste anymore of my time reading this putrid rubbish.

I have to agree with a previous review. This story is awful - wasted my time and money reading it. I have read many MM romance novels and this one lacks depth, plot, empathy with characters (poor characterisation).... can't think of anything else to say; anything positive that is to say.
