Going Sasquatch (Finnegan & Morrow Book 1) Kindle Edition
Out of concern (and maybe a little unrequited love, let’s be honest) Finn goes searching for Chase, but this leads to a day so bad that when he does catch up with his crush, they both agree that the best solution to their very Hollywood problems would be to take off, head up into the Bigfoot country of Northern California and – like America’s favorite cryptid – pretend not to exist for a while.
When Finn and Chase discover that their long held attraction is entirely mutual, they also discover that going off the grid is not that easy in the 21st century. Especially if you’re an A-lister.

About the author

Jess Whitecroft was born and educated in the UK, where she was once voted 'Most Likely To Think That Writing A Romantic Comedy About Bigfoot Is A Good Idea', and where talking about oneself is considered worse than stripping stark naked in the meat aisle of Sainsbury's. Therefore she would ask to be excused from all future author biographies.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 19, 2018A light heart romance where we get a lot of humor and Bigfoot mythology.
The fun of a pretend relationship, embarrassing parents, and crush return with Jess Whitcroft's on point writing is all over this love story.
Chase and Finn like each other. A lot. But neither one even mention it and thinks the other is straight. Chase has a melt down and we are off...
There is some nice thinking about celebrity here amid all the romp but overall this is a feel good romance.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 29, 2018This book is a hoot and is loaded with searing love scenes--and it has a nasty couple of parallel plots to boot.
Sean Finnegan is a physical therapist and movie superstar Chase Morrow is one of his regular, and best, clients. The fact that Finn is head over heels in love with the "straight" movie star gets us off to a "oh, sure, wait until they get alone" start--you cock your eyebrow and wait for it all to come roaring away.
How Finn and Chase wind up in the Northern California woods which is where the Sasquatch legend lives and where Finn was born and raised is a twist that will cause you to cock both eyebrows. But, what-the-hey as they say in the farmland.
It's Chase who drives this story and it's Finn who cannot believe what he's come across in this previously reticent client all of a sudden.
The flavor here is way off the vanilla chart. It's a fun romp that hopefully will continue in the sequel.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 29, 2019So it sounds like the Hollywood we hear about and I imagine that means there is little reality in it. Regardless- this was an enjoyable book to read with good character development and a well crafted storyline. Positive ending and a promise for a HEA.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 22, 2017I do not know who the heck Jess Whitecoft is, but I do know they deserve a huge readership. These Violent Delights is one of my favourite books of 2017 and this is every bit as good. This book is a fabulous gay romance which is also sexy and satirical, complete with an epilogue and a HEA.
Hey, if you can make sasquatch that little bit crazier, give me a peek into Hollywood, including the b!tchy and the interesting, give me a reminder of some memorable info about Marilyn Monroe, and include Peg Entwistle and the Hollywood sign, Edith Piaf, and slap Trump and his tweets around and snark out the US election, all while two guys fall in love, I'm in total awe.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 10, 2020This was a pretty good book, even funny at times. What turned me off was the numerous references to President Trump and one to Vice President Pence. Not only were they not true, but they had no meaning to the book other than to get jabs in. Won't bother with this author again
- Reviewed in the United States on March 5, 2018I read this one a while back and to my delight, there's a book 2! It's just one of those FUN books to read, with family antics, some sassy and witty dialogue and cute characters falling in love! I recommend it for when you need a pick-me up read!
- Reviewed in the United States on April 27, 2020Never did I expect to run into Sasquatch conspiracy theories in my supposed to be cute romance. It was fantastic, all the quirky fun of cuddling up with my husband, a bowl of popcorn and some monster hunter show. Except in this one the stars also have the hots for each other. Poor hubby kept getting jokes read to him, and yes he also laughed. Loved this book and am going to download the novella now. Worth the read.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 31, 2017Overall, I found this to be a nice enjoyable read. The story flowed fairly well; although, there were a few times that the timeline seemed off or awkward. Chase was absolutely loveable but Finn came across as the more neurotic of the two in spite of Chase’s initial meltdown. There were a few very minor editing issues but nothing that distracted from the story. I would have liked to see a bit more angst and emotion in Chase’s public revelation. The ending was very nice but it seemed like it could have used another couple of paragraphs. The ending sentence was a bit abrupt. Still, definitely worth taking the time to enjoy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great read
This was one of the first books I read by Jess Whitecroft and it's a great read. It has everything going for it, well written, funny and with a lovely romance running through it. After reading this I would recommend reading the sequel, Going Roswell, it actually made me cry with laughter!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Cute story
It’s a cute story that made me giggle in a few places. Has a few typos but nothing too distracting.
