Good Lord: Woolf Tales 2 Kindle Edition
Thrilling, dark, erotic and intriguing. The new novel from Viva Gold picks up where Izzy’s Boy leaves off and we see the cast of characters embark on the next phase of their lives fraught with terror, filled with love, and quite a bit of consensual pain! This is not a BDSM story – it's filthy in parts; utterly abhorrent in others and downright sexy throughout.
Lord Jason Greenall doesn’t have a very high opinion of himself, but one thing he does know is that he deserves to be loved just like anyone else. It is with this in mind that he separates from his boyfriends, G & T, who happen to be twins that are more in love with each other than they care to admit, and goes home to Greenall Manor to lick his wounds and ponder on life in general.
Sipping tea in the conservatory with his beloved mother, Jason gets an eyeful of his French cousin Remi, who he hasn’t seen for a few years. Oh boy, Remi grew up to be somewhat delicious. Tall, and muscly, black hair and blue eyes, olive skinned and surly – everything Jason is attracted to and trying hard not to show it.
Remi has come to live at Greenall Manor while studying at Oxford. His mother is married to Jason’s father’s first cousin Marc, which means they are not blood related. Not that that would prevent Remi from taking what he wants. And he wants Jason. And he takes him. No safe words; no limits.
Their story includes Izzy and Adam of course, and the Twins. But we also meet Angel in a set of disturbing circumstances that could easily devastate the entire family. Remi is not as bullish as he would appear but he does have tendencies that make him volatile and unpredictable. Izzy is not ok with this at all and unleashes his Dom all over the lot of them.
Jason finds himself in predicaments and situations both physical and emotional that could either make him or break him…. Oh, Good Lord.

About the author

VIVA GOLD - writer of MM love stories.
If you like your romance with a strong back story that is often thrilling, intriguing, exciting and amusing, then you should find something among my catalogue of characters that will keep you engaged. My stories range from fairly hardcore to sassy and fun. Many of the characters cross over into other books, and all of them have an HEA.
Set mostly in London and Oxford, I write in a distinctly British voice for authenticity. The stories feature religious conflict, BDSM, hilarious situational shenanigans, Christmas love, violent crime, rescue, retribution and revenge, indulgence, wild fantasies come to life, and gorgeous, gorgeous men. There is always an underlying humour, and lots of sweet, sexy, love.
I love words and all the power they contain. Subsequently, it is my ultimate goal in life to use my words for your pleasure and enjoyment.

- Reviewed in the United States on November 11, 2018The emotional journey these guys go on, is a true rollercoaster. Watching the dynamics chance and grew was truly breathtaking.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 9, 2018Good Lord is the second book in the Woolf Tales series by Viva Gold. I enjoyed reading this book. It does pick up right after Izzy’s Boy, the first book in the series, and I was so hoping it was going to be about Jason, Izzy’s PA extraordinaire, and his twin boyfriends, G & T, but alas that isn’t what was in the cards for Jason.
I was proud of him for wanting to be loved just as much as G loves T and T loves G so he does the only thing that he can, he dumps them and takes vacation time and runs home to Greenall Manor to his mum to lick his wounds. What he finds is a cousin that’s staying there while he attends Oxford. Remi is Jason’s Dad’s first cousin’s stepson. Wow wasn’t that a mouth full, but what it means is that Remi isn’t blood-related to Jason. Yeah! Not that that would have been a reason not to read the book if they had been related as they would have only been second cousins.
Jason may not remember his gorgeously rugged cousin, but Remi sure remembers Jason and has had a crush on him for a long time and has been following his life or as Jason puts it, stalking him. Jason decides to use his cousin as a way to get over G & T, but he doesn’t know what he’s about to get himself into. Jason knows from being around his boss, Izzy, about the BDSM lifestyle but as Remi says he isn’t a Dom, he’s a deviant, and he doesn’t believe in safe words or stopping, or the comfort of his partner as Jason finds out. And I won’t lie, the first forty-one percent of the book was a little hard to stomach and pushed my boundaries, but I’m glad that I pushed through to the end of the book.
I started out not liking Remi and the way that he treated Jason, but Jason’s body seemed to like what Remi was doing to him even if Jason wasn’t sure that he liked what was being done to him. And as I continued to read the book and got to see into how Remi became the way that he was, I found myself sympathizing with him, and after Angel became a part of their relationship, I even found myself liking Remi. And the BDSM scene at the end of the book was hot. I absolutely loved Angel. He had a rough life, but I loved his upbeat attitude and how naturally submissive he was. He was like a super energetic puppy. Always wanting to please and be loved. I also liked that all of the characters in the book were close in age, Jason at twenty-six, Remi at twenty-one (although he acts like he is older due to experiences), and Angel at eighteen.
I can’t wait to see what Viva Gold comes up with for the next book in the series. I’m hoping for a book about G & T.
As with Izzy’s Boy, Good Lord could use another round of edits. Although it had fewer errors than the first book in the series, it did still have quite a few verb tense issues and some other grammar issues, and I was reading my purchased copy and not the arc copy.
***I would like to thank the author for the privilege and opportunity of reading this ARC. My review is an honest opinion of the book ***
- Reviewed in the United States on November 24, 2017I am gonna say I wasn’t sure how Viva was going to follow up Izzy’s Boy, and then Good Lord, did she ever surpass my expectations.
We get to see more about the outgoing Jason, and although we only get brief glimpses of G&T I can only imagine just how hot these three were together.
Jason is hurting, and runs ‘home’ to his ancestral estate but what he doesn’t expect is to find a man who will literally turn his world upside down in more ways than one. Enter Remi, his rather naughty cousin who really enjoys putting the young Lord through his paces, and stripping away his stiff upper lip amongst other things.
The scenes between them are raw and uncensored and bordering at times on the indecent, but I LOVED THEM! Remi takes no prisoners, but has issues of his own that he needs to deal with. His past unfortunately doesn’t remain where it should and soon impacts on his flourishing relationship with Jason.
People are either going to love or hate Remi, me? I love him! Then again I always seem to go for the ones that people don’t traditionally love.
Of course we get to see Izzy and Adam in full flight, and the sight is quite magnificent, and we even get introduced to Dom Izzy *fans self*
Be warned, this book isn’t for everyone, there are scenes that some people might shy away from, but nothing is there for sensationalism, everything has a purpose and helps paint the entire picture the reader.
For a 2nd novel, the story is complex, with many different interactions and people in some scenes but it works perfectly Nothing was missed, nothing left me wondering , “what happened there?” That’s credit to Viva, and I really, REALLY cannot wait to see what she dreams up next in the Wolff tales series.

- Reviewed in the United States on November 20, 2017Oh dear Lord, what have l just read ?
This book continues from where book 1 , Izzy's Boy left off.
l loved all the characters and the story, especially all the "action" in the first book.
Jason, Lord Grenfall, PA extraordinaire to Izzy Woolf makes some life changing decisions
and goes home to his mummy at Greenall Manor to sulk and escape his misery.
What he does not expect to find, is a hunk of a man that catches his eye straight away.
Remi , is the French cousin living in Greenall Manor while studying at Oxford.
Jason may not recognise his cousin, but the same cannot be said about Remi.
Remi had grown up with a huge crush on Jason, and had been following his life constantly.
Remi has a difficult pass, a pass that has molded him into the young man he is today.
He wants Jason to become his...
Jason wants Remi in his bed...
Oh, mon dieu !!!
What follows is so bad , at times l felt squeamish and horrified,
l felt really bad for Jason , but that fool was loving every sick second.
A flippant remark, a misunderstanding, causes huge problems for all.
Once again Izzy and his husband Adam, and the gorgeous G & T, come to Jason's aid.
Will Remy and Jason ever have a healthy relationship?
With so many problems to solve what will happen when Angel enters the equation as well.
l think Izzy the Dom needs to take matters in to his own hands.
This book is so well written, it has taken me to such unexpected places.
l loved catching up with all the characters, especially the very naughty Lord Grenall.
l can't wait for more.

5.0 out of 5 stars This will blow your socks off!
My apologies, this review is long overdue, but good grief, this book was worth it!
I loved the characters from the first book, and Jason was definitely one of my favourites (thought the top spot is reserved for those gorgeous twins!).
Let me start off by saying that Viva Gold is one hell of a writer. Her prose pours across the surface with a graceful ease that is the mark of someone who loves her craft. Viva is a lover of words, and in this instalment, she does not disappoint, and her style shines very, very brightly.
Right, now that’s over with. OMG. This book made me wince so many times. Is it wrong that this is a good thing? I read this book while in hospital, which was just as well because on more than one occasion I needed resuscitation! This book should come with a health warning and be re-named Good God! I was wondering if Viva would be able to TOP the first book, which in itself was a vivid experience, but oh boy, not only did she top it, she added a ball gap to finish it off! It is not often that a book leaves me speechless, but this one left me totally breathless. I am now team Remi...and I know that is so wrong on so many levels, but I just cannot help myself. Viva, I blame you. I blame you for making my heart work overtime and for me gasping out loud with utter amazement...and admiration. Bravo. This book is superb.
