    The description does not do this book justice. I almost skipped it, but I am so glad I didn't. Ace is hard to like at first, as are his buddies. As the story goes on, and Layla's truth begins to unfold, Ace's likability skyrockets. By the end, I found myself wishing he were a real person I could physically meet. Sure, he'd scare the daylights out of me but I want to know him. He's fierce and fearless, loyal and unyielding. Without his arc, this story wouldn't be half as good. I strongly recommend it.

    This book is a little dark, a little twisted and a lot perfect. I had varying feelings on this book. At times I hated the male characters in this book and adored Layla. This book gives you a lot of different emotions like hate, love and surprise. I was worried how it would end and once again the author didn’t fail me with a perfect ending.

    I’m very torn about this book. It was a really really good story and I enjoyed it a lot however I felt like it was incomplete. The ending was a good ending and tied everything together that’s not what I mean when I say that I feel like the book was incomplete. It seemed like it skipped chunks of time without really letting you know that any time had passed. For example you will read one chapter and it ends but doesn’t seem like it was finished and you move on to the next chapter expecting to get the answers to your questions and then it will just switch to something completely different and you kind of have to guess what’s going on and realize there was a time jump. Overall the book was good and I would recommend you read it it was a really good story.

    But, I loved it. Everyone has a right to belong. Doesn't matter if you were forced to do something against someone else. In the end, it's your decision how your story ends. Meaning, life is messed up. When you're dealt a wrong hand to go through life with betrayal after betrayal. When you actually find your missing puzzle piece, and get the house with the fence, you always dreamed of.. That's when you know.. all the hell that you lived through, made you a better person, because you survived the demons that were meant to break you.

If you’ve read Erin before you know what to expect (and even then she loves to shock her readers) but if not...give this a go. Don’t expect all hearts and flowers. Erin’s books are not about the easy path to love. But when her characters fall? Nobody better get in their way <3
