Hello! Thank you for checking out my Amazon Author Page. I like exciting heroes who keep you guessing, and intelligent, complicated heroines who make them work to get them. My stories are filled with twists you won't see coming and my Happy Endings are never cookie-cutter, but always deliciously satisfying. My series include The Parker Series; The Affair Without End Series; The Sand & Fog Series; and The Locked & Loaded Series. I'm the mother of grown daughters, a grandmother, and I live with my husband and dog, Lady. My favorite things to do are writing an angsty HEA love story, drinking coffee, eating chocolate, having a good glass of wine, traveling, watching sappy movies, and chatting with my readers.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 25, 2015Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI have to admit there are times when I am reading this story, that I am emotionally drain and spent between loving, supporting, cheering and hating the characters all at the same time.
It's fiction, I know, but damn they all feel so real to me...
It's a weird feeling, I've read a lot of books before, but there is something about Chrissie, Neil and Alan that just does it to me and brings me to the edge.
This is one intense hot freaking tormented some times even sick and impossible love triangle, the kind that just won't let you have a "favorite guy" and you find yourself cheering for both of them, when you know that's just not possible.
She has to make a choice... she did, I should be happy with it, since I was team Neil for good part of my reading and I really hated Allan at the first book, but then again, damn Alan just makes my heart beat faster eveytime he comes into scene too....
So I am sooo one-clicking my way to book #4... like a brand new drug I just discover, I need my next fix on Chrissie, Alan and Neil, and I need it fast.....
- Reviewed in the United States on June 25, 2015Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThe characters in this series feel so real to me, and I'm addicted. I love Chrissy, even though she makes mistakes. She reacts to things the way I would. So I don't know if that makes me narcissistic or what, for liking that a character reminds me of myself. But I think it is just that it makes the experience of reading more visceral, more real. Also, I love the 90s music scene the author takes us inside. (I wish the 90s had never ended, personally). There was a tiny lag in the middle of this book where I wasn't feeling it between Chrissie and Neil. And then, well, I have to admit, the excerpt in the back of what's coming next, kind of upset me. Not because of a rooting for Alan vs. Neil thing, but because I felt a tad bit duped. Like...what? But that is the mark of a good series. Can't stop reading, no matter what. Plus, life doesn't always give us what we want. (No, I'm not going to quote The Stones.) And this is Chrissie's story, not Alan's or Neil's. I'm with her. All the way.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 7, 2015Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI have been hooked on Chrissie's story ever since the first chapter of The Girl on the Half Shell. Chrissie could be any one of us; we've all been her. The 3rd book of the Half Shell series finds Chrissie trying to graduate from college while going through a heart wrenching and life altering event. Neil is by her side the whole time and decides to go on your with him. While on tour she discovers a little more about herself and about her relationship with Neil, all the while trying to get over Allan. While I'm secretly rooting for her and Allan (he was her first after all) I did find myself cheering for her as she tried very hard to move on and start a life with Neil. Chrissie finally has her happy ending! Or does she? I can't wait for the final book!
- Reviewed in the United States on July 17, 2016Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI wasn't sure what I was getting into when I first started this series. But it took me by surprise and I quickly read the whole series. It's mind-blowing and heart-breaking. So many highs and lows for the main characters. There were times I couldn't breathe when I was reading about some of the things going on. I won't go into any details about the books but to me the series is a must read if you like getting caught up in a character's life and riding it out to the end.
I'm wondering if there will be more about Chrissie?
- Reviewed in the United States on September 2, 2015Format: KindleMeeting Chrissie for the first time in book three left me unimpressed. When one reads a story, there is a tendency to identify with the lead character. I don't like Chrissie based on the internal chatter and conclusions that runs in her head. The constant second guessing of decisions is one example. She is one seriously messed up chick. Chrissie's heart is in a tug-of-war between two men, Alan & Neil. She can't let go of anything, unable to adjust to change and never makes a firm decision. There seems to be no real physical action, no surprises, only mental wishy-washy thoughts. What we are left with are unexplained mysteries, secrets and many, many unanswered questions. I was given a free copy in exchange for an honest review. Three Stars.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 24, 2015Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI really loved this series! Even where there were parts I wasn't crazy about (a little overboard on the sex), it was a great story. From the first book I was captivated with the characters and couldn't put the books down. I didn't plan to read all 3 one after another and immediately, but I couldn't help myself! Can't wait for the next one and quite anxious to read the rest of the story.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 21, 2015Format: KindleVerified PurchaseIn this book. I felt more torn between Neil and Alan. Neil helps Chrissie through a difficult time and I respect him for being there for her. He is wonderful to her and makes her happy. I enjoyed there story but am still holding out hope for Chrissie and Alan to get it right. I feel Chrissie has grown up a lot but still making a few mistakes along the way, but who doesn't.
I feel we are in store for an explosive ending to this series. I can't wait to read it.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 2, 2016Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThis series is such an awful love triangle that just seems to get worse w each book... I fear for all Chrissy has put Neil through that this next book may not end well for her.. she is a mess and Neil keeps forgiving.. he is such an incredible guy! Then Alan, I don't know how to feel about him now.... right now I just feel how selfish Alan and Chrissie are and driven by heated lustful moments without anyone else's feelings....
