    Alien stories are one of my favorites. This one was really quite good, although I will need to read the others in the series to determine if the whole culture is one of D/s or just these few stories.

    Mira Janison, an engineer, was on a small space ship that was hit by space debris and crashed onto the planet of Pra'Kir. Pra'Kir does not yet have space travel ability and as their ship was destroyed the 5 women have no way to get home. We meet Mira in a jail cell, being mistreated by her huge jailers. Her fate is yet undecided: death, life in prison, or rehabilitation to the ways of Pra'Kir. The Council of Nine has decided that each of the 5 women will be sent to 'foster' and recondition to the ways of Pra'Kir.

    Mira is assigned to the home of one of the victims of the crash that left 3 children the wards of their twin uncles. Their uncles are sadly not equipped to handle three young girls.

    The men, Jakk, a judge and Gav'n a police commissioner are big brawny alpha males with strong DOMINANT personalities. They demand that Mira be submissive and respond with all sentences ending with 'Master'. Hmmpf! The first thing they do when they get her home is strip her. Then spank her. Her life seems to be one increasingly masochistic non-consensual series of spankings, whippings, cannings, and failings. They can do all that in the name of reconditioning her to their world, but she has to ask if she want to have sex with them. Makes me wonder about the future lives of the nieces, or is this something 'special' because she accidentally killed their sister.

    The eldest girl is a belligerent teen, the middle one has not spoken a word since her mother was killed. Only the littlest one accepts Mira readily after she reads her a bedtime story. Even the middle child listens raptly to the story while the eldest pretends not to listen.

    Mira's interaction with the children is one of the best parts of the story and brings it to life. The story with the brothers I found less enjoyable, but I will read the other stories and see if this is the way of their society or just the three of them. A well-written erotic story, worth your time to read.

    Mira is a space traveler who finds herself stranded on a strange planet 'fostered out' to 2 sexy alien brothers. She is to be a nanny to their neices who lost their mother when her ship crashed. I love the sexy sweet brothers who fall for Mira but must first 'train' her into obedience. Menages aren't usually my thing but Mira is a lucky girl! I especially loved Jakk who had a 'disability' making him undesirable to other Prak,Irish women. He tried so how to be strict, but I love how the author showed his true feelings about Mira. The sexy discipline was very strict but with a loving edge. No sex until Mira said 'yes' which was a nice touch. The HEA was great and tied everything together. If you like sweet menages topped with hot spanking and punishments get this book!

    I really liked this story!!! I was very excited to see this author wrote an alien romance. Very. I think the best aspects of this story was that the alien brothers bother genuinely liked and adored their captive; as well as the captive human engineer having developed genuine feelings for both brothers and their nieces. They made a cohesive family unit. G alien was not the best listener, but his brother made up for that, they were a great balance and team.
    Looking forward to reading the other books in this series by various authors(new to me.)

    I bought this book even though I got an ARC copy from the author because it is brilliant! So great! Hot tall sexy aliens and lovely sweet compassionate Mira. A real page-turner! The characters are very well written, described and developed. The sex hot and the love sweet. There is also fun and children. This is a great series and a this book is a wonderful addition to it. Nothing not to like! I highly recommend it.

    I agree with a previous review. This is a wonderful story- i kept coming back to it, BUT i was disappointed in both the Heros and the Heroine. I feel that Mira gave in to quickly. After one particular beating she started smiling and acting submissive to the men. They seemed to truly care about Mira, and recognized that she was capable of so much more, but neither man really did anything about it. At one point, Jakk noticed that Mira is losing weight because she can only eat a few foods, but again, he does nothing about it! The females of this series seem strong but give in so quickly and become door-matts.
