- Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2017Loved it thank you. A fast passed book. Loved it and look forward to reading more books from this author.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 22, 2014I thought this was a full novel, not a sampler. I had to go back and check the number of pages after I read it. If this were a comic book with 19 pages of pictures/artwork, I'd be expecting a subscription form to be attached. Nonetheless, I did enjoy the read. The bad guy seemed too overwhelming and too over-the-top but heros are supposed to overcome overwhelming odds to save the day in the face of the impossible. Quite unrealistic, fun, but way too short.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 1, 2015This was a good little read more of a teaser but I was really into it. I think the characters will be more developed in the next one and I will be reading it also. I think anyone who has the guts to even try to put a book together and have it come out and put up with people who do nothing but complain about every little thing deserves at least a chance . I thought this book even though it was short was pretty good. Nice job.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 20, 2014While this appears to be aimed at a much yonger age group than mine, I have to say it did get some of my attention.
Icouldn't help but think of th Fantastic 4 comics! That said, ithink I would read more. This too short story is a good beginning. The challenges will be in keeping people interested and in development of the characters.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 23, 2018Great read, but it was way to short. It left me wanting more. If it was longer would have 5 Stars. It felt like it was just a Preview of the book.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 18, 2013Not a catching story. This book might be for a different age group.I truly wanted to get involved in the story.Expand on the characters, also the book is to thin.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 18, 2014Fantastic story line, great characters and I can't put it down
- Reviewed in the United States on July 22, 2017I chose this rating because it was exciting most of the time but it got boring at one small spot.

4.0 out of 5 stars A great little sci fi fantasy!
Hero's Break is one of the best short stories I've read in a long while. If you like fast paced gritty science fiction then give this a go!. It's easy to read and keeps you on the edge of your seat with its plot full of action and adventure surrounding the two superheros, Bolt and Accel. It reads like a mini movie and left me wanting more. P.A Ross provides a sample of his other work 'The Birth of Vengeance' and if `Heros Break' is anything to go by then this is a must have for me and I can't wait to start it!

3.0 out of 5 stars Hero's or Zero's
Mmmmmmmmmmmmm!
Not to sure on this, it does seem to have the potential of a large series of short stories ,telling each characters strength, weakness and motivation but is it enough for us to buy it. The Hero's seemed to be arrogant dicks that one didn't really care a lot for and I was rooting for the strange mystery man who had his coffee spilt.
Time will tell with this one.

4.0 out of 5 stars An amusing short
Based around the super hero genre this isn't the typical storyline. It is well written with a wry twist at the end.
