    I love the new character of sebastian, the adorable snale shifter with a wicked tongue. Im also really glad Trace is okay after the end of the last book. But im hating the changes to jonah, i loved him in the first book when he was sweet and nice and slim, but now hes just kept growing and getting more muscular and hes gotten really dominant and angry, making all the other characters "submit" so he can be alpha- thats gross and i hate it. I want the cutie back.

    Book 3 picks up after the tornado tore through Trace's property and demolished his home. When he wakes up the other 2 guys have gotten most of it cleaned up into a dumpster while trying to salvage what they can. Jonah goes Alpha and makes Trace submit to him to make him part of his "pack" which takes it's toll on him. Olivia realizes that she can control water. Lucas and Trace start to explore a relationship between the two of them without Olivia involved. While at a Halloween party Olivia's brother Jax shows up wanting to take the dagger and explains how dangerous it can be but after listening to Olivia and how it might save her and help her find her mates he decides to give her 3 weeks to figure it out. The dagger then makes it known that it's time to move on, but not before Jonah makes Lucas submit to him, and they start driving until they get to Florida in a swamp area. They hike in and find a wild looking man who doesn't seem to want to talk so Olivia tells him where to find them. That night she hears a noise and realizes that Trixie caught a ride under the RV and laid an egg but the wild one, Sebastian, is trying to eat them. He realizes that he has been in snake form for 5 years without knowing as time moves differently. He has been hiding since the day his Dad shot and killed his Mom, he was bit by something in the water, and then shifted into a snake and strangled his Dad to death and let alligators eat him. He tried going back but couldn't handle being around people. Olivia follows Sebastian and he saves her from alligators and while they are both in their shifted forms he realizes that she is his mate. Jonah then makes him submit too. They decide to go back to Jonah's home in Maine to attend the fireman's ball that Lucas is having but run into a problem with Sebastian in his snake form in the cold, he was out for 4 days without them realizing it was a problem. Sebastian and Olivia go shopping and are approached by Harlow and given the 4th prophesy about when the ground shakes you need to escape and there being a collision, also you have to let him go for a transformation he must undergo. At the ball Sebastian and Olivia get together. Jonah had received a phone call from the Coalition and luckily Lucas and Trace locked him in the car because he started to change, his face was half human and half werewolf looking. They try to take him to one of Lucas's homes to chain him up while he shifts for the first time but it's still 3 days until the full moon and he freaks out on everyone in the car causing an accident. There is also a mudslide and Sebastian gets stabbed by the dagger. Jonah tries to take Olivia and runs away. It ends on a cliffhanger where he leaves her and takes off. Spice level is a solid 3! I can't wait to finish this series!!

I only give 5 stars if it has managed to engage extra emotions from me - extreme lol moments or real teary moments etc. A 5 stars book tends to have me raging about cliff hangers and (legally and not creepily) stalking the author for release dates.

    4 stars - 2 days to read or less. A book that I have quite enjoyed reading, feisty MC and some racy scenes with thier romantic interest. I would definitely follow a series and author for 4 star books.

    3 stars - takes around 2/3 days to read, usually because I have become distracted and less engaged in some sections but by the end the end I have enjoyed the overall story and would read any sequels.

    Incredibly disappointed that Sebastian didn't get more of a story. It was literally "there he is, he has no one, he is now part of the pack". His quite traumatic past was just brushed over, his 'loved ones' are just mentioned in passing despite previously making out that he had no one holding him to where he was.
    I would definitely saw 1/3 of this book was about Sebastian and the rest was just preamble for the next book. ☹️☹️☹️
