Dr Thacker is a compassionate healer and has a passion to help people with thyroid disease, drawn from her personal struggles with this condition. She has created a protocol, Seven Steps to Heal your Thyroid for everyone to feel like themselves again while increasing their energy, elevating their mood and optimizing their weight. She is a licensed Naturopathic Physician in the State of Arizona.

She graduated from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine from Tempe, AZ in 2007 upon completion of her Bachelors in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery from Mumbai, India in 2002.

She has worked at Sottopelle for more than a decade and learned the pellet therapy from the pioneer, Dr. Gino Tutera himself. Her focus in practice is balancing hormones in women and treating thyroid disorders, naturally.

Besides her work, she loves to spend time with her husband and two boys. She loves dancing and outdoor activities like ATV riding.

She believes that Life is about finding Balance in this Trinity- Body, Mind & Soul

    I really like how Dr Thacker has written this book to help women to take care of their thyroid glands and overall well-being. As we all know this holistic approach is missing in other western medicine.
    When food is medicine and our Western medicine schools have less than 4 hours of classes on nutrition, it is no wonder that they only talk about treatment.
    In this book Dr Thacker starts with introducing her background, dives into details of how thyroid glands function and then gives us step by step guidance on how and what we can do to be at our best health and wellness!
    I highly recommend this book, not only because I am big fan of Dr Meghna Thacker, who is a personification of love and kindness but because she has written it from her heart and shared many Golden nuggets of advice which will keep us in the right path to health and wellness

    I'm currently on a journey for my health and well-being. The information contained in this book is very helpful and informative. I'm sixty years old and experiencing complications of immune deficiencies: pain in knees, legs, hip( I believe it uneven hips), and tightness in lower back. Before I ever got to this condition, in my younger years, I always tried get the right from doctors but was never helped. These doctors are mds and only go by md protocol. Homeopathic and naturopathic doctors are not covered in most of any major insurances. Also, they are not covered on medicaid or medicare. So, the only people that get to reap the benefits of these types of doctors is the rich.

    Lots of great information on thyroid health and how it relates to your energy levels and mood - it basically governs most if not all hormonal responses. If you have issues with your thryoid then this is the book for you!

    I could connect a lot with the author and with her methods of healing with natural and easy options.
    Thankfully, I had already started in this direction before reading this book. Now, I'm more confident in continuing my path. Some portion of the book may feel a bit too technical.

    I would not recommend this to anyone. Total waste of money and time. Patients of Hashimoto's are already worried and desperate when they approach any book. This is no life saving or eye opening book.

    The book talks about thyroid and hormones. The book talks about Naturopathy and Homeopathy medicines too which I found little boring. The last chapters are good encouraging women to have a healthy body and sound mind. One can read the information which is relevant to them. I got it on kindle for Rs 19/- so its a good buy.

    Overall a good read. But it's BHRT which I don't think women should go for. Natural healing can happen with herbs and healthy life's changes. I prefer logotherapy concept over these chemicals.
